The last movie I watched with my father before he passed away. It was the longest one -- he wasn't much for the movies, having grown up during this time period, and we'd not sat alone for this long for as long as I can remember. I'd joined the military very much like him, very much, I think, due to him. I grew up hearing his stories of the war, the funny bits he'd tell me here and there, of his friends and their antics. I wanted to be very much like him, and I was, and am, in so many ways. He'd left us in November, but I feel him around me every day. I miss him very much. Even though I am an adopted child of his, one of many, I'd imagine myself having no other father. Thank you, David... Dad.

@Deep Moticons You don't understand that we NEED sometimes kick ass people. Because without rules, and authority, and people who can fix people's mind again, this world will leave to terror. I'm so glad my mother kiss ass me when I was a kid cause i'm in the good way and want to spread good emotions, positivity, and courage and force to others. If my mom hadn't put me in the right place, I probably would've done a lot of crap. And what's sad is what these kind of people nowadays are not many. We need these type of people in order to put the order.

My grandfather worked as an aircraft mechanic on Hickam Field (one of the fields shown being attacked in the film) He was on a date with my grandmother that Sunday morning and the two of them had picnicked on a hill overlooking the harbor and he saw the planes attack, saw the explosions and the gunfire he said the most eeriest thing that happened that day was how quiet it had been before the attack started and then it was never quiet again

My great-grandfather was an Austrian Wehrmacht soldier who fought the Russians and was captured. He was tortured and starved but was allowed to return to Austria in the 50's. Not really. The Dark Knight Rises was in the same key the whole score. His style has been super repetitive for about twenty years now, and his music has been simple, sometimes even juvenile, in most of his recent work. Compare his X-Men theme with his Batman theme. Compare his use of strings across The Lone Ranger, TDK trilogy, and Dark Phoenix.

Ever since then I got more & more into War history, especially wars fought by the U.S. And I got see how the Japanese were in WW2, now I can see a clear reason why I was mad at them. But I'm kinda happy that they changed. But still I will never forget about Pearl Harbor. I loved the movie even if it isn't 100% historical. Now after years, I'm mostly a man who knows a lot.

This song feels like if it heals and kisses every heart break and hurt and whispers to your softly it’s going to be , you’ll see. Then notes heal you from the inside out and your spirit feels alive and put together. This song is precious. 💗🎶🙏🏻🫶🏻

This will be my soundtrack when I hike the Pacific Crest Trail later this year. I think it is appropriate to play this beautiful theme as a reflection of the indescribable beauty of the Pacific Crest Trail. There will be moments when I'll break down crying and I know it. It's not sadness, its sheer joy and happiness that is indescribable . This theme is extraordinarily emotive for me. Thank you Hans Zimmer.

More than a film, more than a melody is a Tribute to the Value and Pain of all those killed in that brutal attack, a Beautiful Tribute to a Great Nation.

Last time I watched this movie was with my grandad last year when he was still with us. He passed away due to cancer in June. He raised me He was more like my dad. I cant talk about this movie to anyone as noone else in my family likes it. I always thought this is a underrated movie so sad. I watched this movie today for the first time and it hits me like a rock. I thought about my grandad. I miss you 😓

There is a beyondness aspect to this maestro and his work. Music which can take your breath away and bathe you in calmness. You listen to his melodies and then you listen again and again. His compositions enhance all the films he has worked on. Every time l go to the cinema l sit through every bar of the closing sequences look ,and, marvel at all the people involved. If music be the food of love, play on .....

When the sky was blue, we celebrated our heroes, but now our sky is red after we separate and discriminate others. God bless you, Pray for the time when we can look up the sky is blue again.

If you ever get the chance get the Director's Cut. It is rated R because of the blood and gore that was added to the war scenes but it also has two new scenes that make the movie and character development work better than the PG-13 version. It is honestly the version I watch now.

Questa musica è meravigliosa, sempre e con qualsiasi fotografia. La sua esaltazione è con le scene del film, capolavoro assoluto. Qualsiasi foto fissa la impoverisce.
