IAIN HUME DESCRIBES "MADNESS" OF INDIAN FOOTBALL | OneSoccer

Iain Hume and Rohan Ricketts have travelled the world and played their football in a number of exotic leagues and locales, but none of their experiences, it seems, compare to their time in India.
Hume in particular earned his keep in the Indian Super League, where he became a star attacker for a number of clubs, including Atletico de Kolkata, Kerala Blasters, and Pune City.
The former Canadian men's national team striker spoke about the "madness" of life and football in India, and speaks on how the nation is quickly developing into a regional powerhouse as their love and affinity for the beautiful game - not to mention their deep history - manifests as growth in the 21st century.

The tactical analysis part is spot on......we play very random back here in India.....good practices aren't taught to kids at youth levels.....most of the youth teams rely on single talents......my school was a local Powerhouse in the state, beat everyone with good margins....only because we had very hard working and talented players, but all with big egos and played by themselves..... never fun to watch.....saw so many opportunities for good passes that they created with their driblling and pace and yet they took bad shots by themselves.

@Ayush Pandey I was in army public school so we have our national competitions plus there are lot of good schools in dehradun itslef......luckily we had a very good coach....a true martinet..... never spared anyone.😂

We ATKMB miss him. He was the one who gave us cheers with with strikes, runs, abilities to counter and his unique penalties. I still remember that he was the master of penalties in ISL and he was brilliant in 2015 and 2016. In 2016 finals penalty shootout, Hume had to take the first one. We were sure that he would make it easily but it was the first time he missed a penalty that too in finals. Anyways we won the Finals and Hume was the hero with the way he carried the then ATK with his skills and runs for 2 seasons consecutively and leaving the Club with a trophy in his hands. This is for you Hume❤️🔴
