He's so unique! Please react to his duet with Oliver, it made many of us cry. As for keeping his eyes open, there's no need. He connects through his voice and not through his eyes. It's perfect just the way it is. If it was a whole concert it would be different, he could keep his eyes closed for a song like this and nobody would say anything about it. As far as I'm concerned he can doing only this too.

I agree. Iam is I a huge fan-favorite, but I know he's not the typical "pop idol" AI tries to produce, and I really don't want him to be forced into anything fake and inauthentic like that. Maybe he can wear casual shoes (I'm pretty sure he has trouble finding comfortable shoes after living in slippers in Hawai'i most of his life) and a nice shirt and long pants sometimes, but please don't try to turn him into something he's not. He'll get a recording contract somewhere for sure, whether he wins AI or not. So many people say they are ready to buy his music right now. I can't wait till the live shows start and they put up the songs on iTunes.
