This song is perfect. Beautiful vocals. I am Iam’s biggest fan, among the millions out there. He never ceases to surprise me every time he performs. He is a true artist, a very talented young kid with a big heart. It’s so amazing how he connects with his audience. He is the total package; no need to hit the highest notes nor move around the stage. All he needs is his smooth, velvety like butter voice and his his guitar, his shorts, his t-shirt, and his flip flops. He captured my heart from the very first time I saw his audition. I was at work when I got the notification that his new single dropped so I’m was all excited and stopped working and listened to the song. I started bawling so bad that people were wondering what happened to me. My dad and my grandfathers photos are on m desk. My grandfather has been gone for 35 years and I lost my dad last year. You're not alone there. I know Rodney from growing up with him and went to school back in the island. His parents were my music and drama teacher. Rodney is such a kind person. My sister went to same school with Lillie. I'm not surprised that Iam is a gentle soul. I cried each time I watched his videos thinking of how Rodney would've been so proud of Iam. Lionel Richie told him to take it to the world and fracture some souls and that's exactly what he did. But in a good way.

How can this song and his amazing voice not touch the hearts of anyone who hears it. I immediately saw the faces of my sister, two brothers, my parents, and grandparents who had passed. I cried during his audition, but I haven't cried and sobbed like this in a very long time. I miss my family everyday. The song to me has a haunting melody that pierces the soul and it clearly resonated with you and all of us as we hold close the memories of our time with our loved ones. Iam definitely has his father, Kupuna and guardian angels watching over him. The mana is strong. He is exactly where he needs to be at this moment in time. As someone who is from Hawaii, and have had family members who were aldo priced out of paradise. Which is all too common these days. I pray for their return just as I do for Iam and his ohana.
