His first in top26 don't let, he built his way into the 3rd round where like lionel, i couldn't help but get up & sing along at home. The band backup singers were awesome & truly complimented his voice as equally as he complimented theirs. Its what makes iam so uniquely versatile the way his voice can blend & stand out in perfection for all. During sound of silence in showstopper week, the one doing backup vocals gave my ears a little rodney flavor in vocal tone. Heard it too a bit in oliver steele during duets, & a couple more of his songs. Beautiful legacy💙

100% one thing will to the last part, he woke the negative people up & like iam said didn't make katie cry! Love iam's music, it gives listeners more of an opportunity to truly hear & appreciate the lyrics within chords & instrumentals, especially knowing his selections always chosen have meaning to him. What he did to alanis's song guardian was brilliant! Can't wait for him to make a cd with all polynesian music & lyrics. I may not understand (like i don't understand il divo & andrea bocelli edited to add celtic women, foreign languages), but i absolutely love that type of music even attempt to sing along in the confines of my home lol. Their's & iams type of music is usually my go to when working through issues or stress, my calming jams.

God knew what the world needed such as a time as this. We need healing. All the pain and suffering that Ian Tongi was experiencing it was what give him that anointing to sing those songs the way that he sung them. When you see grown men shed tears that is very powerful! I thank god for sending Ian Tongi to sing on American Idol, and I thank his family for supporting him. I am so sorry for the loss of Ian Tongi"s father. I thank his mother for submitting her sons name to American Idol. We needed this because the world was getting dark! The songs that Ian Tongi sung it was as if God touched him to sing these songs because it became a bright light. The world is talking. It's such a joy to be uplifted! I keep replaying all of the songs that Ian Tongi sung. I cannot forget Oliver Steel! Thanks for being a great friend to Ian Tongi. You are great in your own right!

I never heard of the other singer or Cool Down until Iam sang it. It’s nice by both singers but Iam takes it unto another level. Here are some notes about Hawaiian language (ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi) pronunciation: Vowels are always pronounced the same in any position in the word "a" - almost like "uh" as in "was" "e" - like "eh" as in "red" "i" - as in "me" "o" - as in "go" "u" - as in "moon" Vowels with a macron (kahakō) above them are long vowels and itʻs important to pronounce and spell them correctly because a long or short vowel can change the meaning of the word. ā - as in "aah" ē - as in "babe" ī - as in "whee" ō - as in "oh" ū - as in "ooh" The "w" as you know, can be pronounced like an English "w" in "water" or close to a "v" sound before an "i" or "e" or if itʻs in the middle of a word. Words that start with "wa" are often pronounced with a "w" sound as in "Waikīkī" (which means "spouting water). Another important sound often ignored by English speakers is the glottal stop or ʻokina, which is spelled with a backwards apostrophe. You need to briefly stop the flow of air as you pronounce the vowel as in "uh-oh" in English. The ʻokina will change the meaning of the word as in "mai" - come, or movement in the direction of the speaker and "maʻi" - illness or sickness Kanileʻa is a great name for the company. "kanileʻa" means "joyful sound" "ʻukulele" literally means "jumping flea" (supposedly because the fast movements of the first players of the instrument looked like jumping fleas). I been on your channel a while and first time I saw monsters by iam I stopped what I was doing in disbelief and rewound it like 10 times. I was so moved and instantly said this kid can’t lose. It was just on tv a few days after it aired live. Then I saw a week or so later you were gonna review it and I had to watch and you had the identical reaction as I did. He’s just so perfect in so many ways. A special kid. I love that he makes you as happy as he does me. Kids a straight up healer.

I’m Kānaka Maoli(Native Hawaiian) although I’m currently in GA rn lol cause my husbands in the Army, we’ll be going back home soon.. but your content is such a feel good time 😊 lolol you’re invited to the luau 😂 It’s just so cool seeing someone so eager to learn not just our culture, but all Pasifika and Polynesian cultures/languages 😊 The last weeks of Idol were such a bittersweet time for my family and I, the person Iam’s Uncle showed love to and did the moment of silence for -Ikaika Boyle, was my hānai(unofficially adopted) baby cousin who was only 24 and got into an accident Mother’s Day night 😭😔 The crash site was literally right by Iam’s concert location. But he’s such a class act!! Iam stopped his trolley for about 5 min at the accident site to pay his respects before going into the venue!! If you wanna watch a really good podcast about the behind the scenes of his concert and all that went into it.. watch it on the @howsdisguy podcast! I will say that concert just made me so proud of my Hawai’i Nei!! We showed up and showed out for him lol like 10k strong at his concert 😳😍
