TCB mahalo nui for expressing what you hear, feel and even knowing the music of IZ and now listening to our IAM. He is still a baby 18yrs old and still in high school. This kid is pure and he has said its hard for him to express his feelings in words but when he sings he has no problem expressing how he feels. We, the audience have been mesmerized watching his every performance because he not only brings his own style to the song, but his emotions that touches us. I am 70 this year and loved hearing you honor Louis Armstrong who I watched growing up. "Its a beautiful because IAM is in it!"

Agree with all that you said! All the songs that Iam has covered on the show he always puts his own spin on it and has made it his own. It’s never the same as the original. He also writes his own music. Check out “Dreams” a song he wrote for his sisters wedding at either 14 or 15 years old. He also sings in a lot of different languages as well.

He didn't want to do the song at first because he felt he would not live up to Iz's version. Its not an official preformance but during Hawaii Homecoming episode he sings somewhere over the rainbow with many of the contestants and it was Iz's version.

Thank you for your knowledge and foresights of the song history. IZ was very much a cultural icon and vertically so was Lois Armstrong. No comparison, IAM sings Iams version and iz sang HIS version of the Louis Armstrong song right ? Love Iams beautiful angelic voice so soft gentle, any genre of music, is easy to listen to...no screaming, no trying to push vocals through, hits his high notes with precision and that vibrato is simply stunning, Iam is just magical 🎶 💙
