I play drums as a hobby and record myself. This song took me about 10 - 20 minutes to learn, and then another 6 months to play it all the way through up to speed with the record without my arms feeling like they would fall off around the 1:45 point.

Amazing energy and co-ordination - even manages to open the hihat to create an accent at two points. Very difficult to do in coordination with the bass drum.

Fucking do it’s in my home, google it Rialto Builidings Broughton Salford, spoke to Ian and had 3 cigarettes with him on the Thursday before they was leaving to play New York, he died on the Saturday night, hooky drove me home in his jaguar numerous times, pinky’s and as next door which was a venue we all played at, endless stories certain ratio was in there, swamp children and nico velvet underground…. I could go on, ask morris where his earth cymbal is ?
