The evil queen/ Regina and Rumpelstiltskin/ Mr. Gold are the best parts of the show. Regina is definitely the villain, and while Mr. Gold is also a villain, he has his own agenda that is not necessarily bad for the good guys, but doesn't always work in their favor. He will always work in his own best interests..whether that serves Regina or works against her to assist Emma, just depends on what he wants

Sure but Regina is Evil because Rumplestilskin wanted and needed her to be, HE made her like, she wanted revenge but several times she almost went back to herself but Rumple always made sure she stayed evil

@@alex08v that is true, but I was speaking more in regards to the villain of the season, not who is more evil. While Rumpelstiltskin might have leaned on Regina's darkest impulses to make her the evil queen she is, the main heroes are rarely fighting him directly. Regina is the main villain/antagonist who is goes after the heroes directly, whether in secret or out in the open, whereas Rumpelstiltskin works for his own ends. This can affect the heroes directly or indirectly, typically indirectly, but it's more so as a means to an end for Rumpelstiltskin, not necessarily because he wants revenge against someone or he just doesn't like them

rumplestiltskin telling the evil queen "so long as i say please" in the fairytale world and bringing that in at the end of the episode in storybrooke is him confirming to her that he's awake. thats why regina looked so shocked and angry. i love the little hints in the show when it comes to the plot.

Here is a tip, season 1 is all about the introduction of each character per episode. Season 2 to 6 is where the real story happens. Season 7 is completely separate from all 6 seasons. And don't try to predict the future too much. Sooner or later, u will get all ur answers through each episode, u just have to wait, watch, and concentrate on what u r watching and it's story line. U need to be patient. Do not forget to write and track down the family tree through all seasons. It's really important. I know it through experience. Beware, it's no ordinary family tree. BTW I watched this series a long time ago, but i still find the family tree ridiculously hilarious. Be patient

Lana Parrilla is great as Regina, but I cannot help but laugh whenever the show gives her a close-up and she quivers her lip. ACTING! 🤣🤣🤣 I saw her recently in a 2000s schlock sci-fi called Spiders. Almost didn't recognize her until she did the 'hot girl transformation' (her hair came down and glasses off 🤓), but in my defense it was made 11 years before Once 😅

Personally season 7 felt for me a little out of place, just because season 6 had such a good ending for the show. I think s7 would work better as a stand alone sequel, especially when a lot of the og cast couldn’t be a big part of it.

This show is absolutely top tier! Season 3, 4, and 6 are my absolute faves. I think the first season starts off a little slow, however it gets better as it goes on. I think you'll like it if you give it a chance. It's an amazing show!

I am super excited for you to watch this just based on what you talked about for the 1st minute and a half It is actually crazy how the inner workings of this show make it possible for seven seasons, but it works so well, the storytelling is airtight and there are almost no plot holes like zero and every season is Dedicated to introducing new characters or themes-it’s amazing

This show needs all those seasons, yes! For most episodes, its about a different fairy tale character which is why the series has a few seasons, and the writing is insane in my view because all of those characters are interconnected somehow, its insane! Some of my fav characters (besides Regina and Mr Gold) comes in season 2. Hope you keep watching! :)

All of your questions are answered in the series. Yes, the cast list becomes VERY convoluted, especially when they start mixing characters/storylines. I would agree it should have stopped at Season 5 or 6. Also, You've already met one of the characters you mentioned. 😉

Biggest plothole of the show is the one where snow white said the Queen poisoned an apple because she thought snow white is prettier than her.

@@bifa5414 It was a plot hole. When she met Charming she acknowledged that she ruined the queen’s life. In the timeline, that moment happened before she met with Regina at Daniel’s grave and was surprised to learn that he did not just run away. So sometimes she was aware of Daniel’s death and sometimes she thought the queen just thought she was prettier than her. It’s kind of hard for me to explain, hope this made sense

I really loved this show back when it was new. But I didn't watch all the seasons. It was too much. Especially season 7 that is very disconnected. Anyway, I wonder if Henry was the only child that aged in those 10 years. I don't remember...

I felt the same way the show got too much really enjoyed season 1 and 2 stopped halfway through season 4. And yes to answer the Henry question he was the only one that aged during the curse because he wasn’t apart of the curse or affected by it he was adopted by Regina 18 years into the curse.

One thing you need to know about this show is that it’s insane. That’s it. There are plot holes, out of character moments, insane writing decisions but it’s honestly just a fun ride. My advice is to not think about it too hard and enjoy the chaos 😅😂

Im going to be EXTREMELY honest with you. Season 6 of this show is the true ending to the series. Season 7 is basically a stand-alone season... I didnt even finish season 7 because i didnt feel it was nessecary...

Aw, Im so glad you will watch this show! I lolve it, and watched it many times. I was not the audience they were reaching for exactly, but I still loved it. I figured it is a familyshow, so the fighting scenes, violence etc are not that realistic when it comes to the sets, costumes, but I think the story always was great, and the stories are what it is all about. The acting, although at times a tad dramatic, was well casted and played. If you let yourself enjoy it and not nitpick about sets and cgi and stuff, I think you will love it too. The last season was not to my liking though, and I dont really consider it canon. :p

I was really on Regina's side for the whole "who is Henry's mother" thing. Sure, Emma gave birth to him, but she gave him up, forfeited her rights. She hadn't seen him since he was an infant. Regina is the one who raised him, kept him healthy, well fed, cared for, Regina loved Henry and stepped up and made sure he had a good life. Regina's his mother, Emma at this point in the story is just the egg donor

In my opinion, the 3 and 4 seasons are among the best, but I really like the 6th too! There are so many things happening in this season! On the contrary, the 1st season is not so good compared to the others and so is the 7th, which is the WORST!!! PLEASE DON'T WATCH IT !!! The 6th is a good final season!!
