She was 9 years old when she participated (and won) Holland’s Got Talent. She blew Everybody away with her audition of the opera-Song ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’. I’ve followed her since and she is just really amazing! She has her own charity-foundation (i think she was 10 when she started it), to build playgrounds in South-Africa (where she now lives)

Amazing reaction, man! It's 2017. She was 13. She was awarded as "Best Mediterranean Opera Star 2019", in Italy. Half of her income goes to her charitable foundation, which builds playgrounds in poor schools in South Africa, as well as helps poor families with food during the pandemic. And she has been doing this since she was 10 years old. This is the first and the last time you look casually at her entering on stage. Keep up the great work!

I saw this before she has the most amazing voice I have never heard such an angelic voice every time I hear her brings tears to my eyes. I first saw her on Andre Ruer in Venice she was 9 years old. Absolutely amazing. If anyone gets a chance to see her in concert please go ahead and see her.

Amira has at least three outstanding vocal qualities: incredible breath control and capacity, a result of her highly successful cross-country running career (Dutch champion); perfect pitch - she hits every note 'on the button'; and almost uniquely, her vibrato starts above, rather than below, the note - I've never heard ANY other singer who naturally does this. (She also has a very strong and attractive contralto voice, not often mentioned.) All this would be remarkable in a mature performer but in a lady of her age it is simply phenomenal. Amira not only sings and acts but is so intense she *inhabits* the role she's singing - I've only ever seen Callas do this and it's what makes their performances so emotive. Enjoy her music, because you're unlikely ever to see her like again.

Thank you for this great reaction! I love it when a knowledgeable reactor is amazed by Amira's voice and ability at such a young age. I would like to hear you also react to her singing Nella Fantasia and Gabriella's Song (which she sings in Swedish), and also her O Sole Mio duet with Patrizio Buanne (the first one when she was 13, I think). All are done in South Africa in this or similarly impressive venues. And if you can find the time it is worth reading some of the interviews she has done (some in English and some with English subtitles), as they tend to show her humility and her giving heart!
