Ta for great reaction again boys and also, once again Aussie Debs wonderful work. Loved all of those vids. John is fun behind the scenes, he isn’t fake at all. I’ve watched this full vid of ‘An Audience With John Farnham’ quite a few times, never get sick of it. So many Aussie entertainers and public personalities in that audience. I loved the look on Jill’s face, she’s gorgeous but also keeps John grounded, the perfect match. So many great Aussies in the Audience & everyone having fun 😊

That Fan Art Fellipe looks amazing. Even with all the activity in the background, which looks awesome, John is centre stage which is how it is seen by all of us. When John is on stage he is so mesmerising that despite anything going on around him, his mere presence consumes the spotlight. Great representation of that characteristic. Can't wait for the finished product.

Damn I didn't want that to end. I love watching you enjoy what us Aussies have enjoyed our whole life. Love watching your reactions to his jokes. John is so down to earth, it's like talking to your mate. He is so easy to engage with. That's one of the reasons we all love him so much. Such an Aussie larrikin (for those that don't know, a larrikin is an Aussie term for someone who jokes around, is a bit cheeky but an all-around nice guy). I would love to have had the opportunity to sit down over a beer and had a chat. Would have been hilarious.

I believe the reference for John Goodman playing John Farnham was in relation to playing Farnsey in his later years, because John is implying that he himself has put a few kilos on and is not as taught and terrific as he once saw himself as when he was younger. It was his way of making a joke. Once you watch enough interviews of John talking you will realize all he does it joke constantly. He has actually said that when he gets nervous he cracks jokes, a lot.

Another fantastic reaction guys, and Aussie Deb for the collaboration of awesome vids of John. He will forever be the GOAT. Aside from his vocal prowess, I just love his down to earth personailty and humour. So genuine. Just one thing, not sure if anyone else experienced it but the sound of the videos was weird, it had like an echoing effect to it. I have seen these videos before and know they don't sound like that. Not sure if it is from your end Teacher Paul, or part of the uploading. Not the most pleasurable sound on the ears, but it was John so I pushed through.

There is a story that goes with the'You're the Voice' song that John performed in Germany. The young kid holding the bagpipes had no idea how to play them, the sound was from the backing track, and he just went through the motions. Apparently he was absolutely shitting himself. You can see at one stage the pipes fell off his shoulder. I think it was John who aid in an interview later that when the kid left the stage he was white as a ghost. Can't recall the reason for using a track to play the bagpipes, I think it was because they didn't have any bagpipers on tour with them at the time. If you know Aussie Deb, or anyone else, please let me know.

Yes I have read about that too - didn't get a chance to put anything on his feet either. LOL!! Definitely a backing back audio of the bag pipes - you can see he's not actually playing 😔

Pretty sure it was Angus that told that story in the doco. It was one of the roadies that got up with the bagpipes. Yeah they wouldn't travel with a bag piper for such a small part There are a lot of interviews on KZbin with band members and they are so complimentary. Recent one with Jack/Irwin and he said one of his biggest regrets was that he didn't sing with John at his 50th because he was too intimidated.

Hi Aussie Deb, just wondering if you have ever come across any footage with John on the tv show "getaway". One of his sons mentioned he did some. I enjoyed watching the variety bash docos. They looked like they had a ball.
