I've listened to the audio book twice now... I cried when I first heard his voice again after such a long time. His fighting spirit certainly shines through during the reading of the book. Thanks again Aussie Deb for continuing the story.

I am assuming the Max Day mention was me, Max Hay LOL. And yes I never want these to end. John has been a staple diet throughout my entire life. With his energy, humour, kindness and down to earth nature I can't get enough. We all love John, he is the whole package. I know entertainers around the world love their fans and enjoy performing, it is not something John has created, but noone seems to be able to pull that love off so genuinely like John can. Every performance, even if in front of thousands of people, always feels so intimate as if you are the only one watching. Just magical. Keep em' coming Aussie Deb, I am having an absolute blast and I am very sure John would be honoured by your effort and committed love for him.

You are dead-on Teacher Paul, they could have used AI to do the audio book, and you are right John chose to do it himself. Can you imagine the bravery, courage and anquish he would have had to push through in agreeing to do this. Here he is, the Voice of Australia, a household name across the country, loved by tens of thousands, if not millions, and he can hardly speak. This would have been the first time too that anyone had heard him talk after parts of his jaw were removed. That would have been terrifying for him to expose his vulnerabilities like that. And yet, he does it anyway. Absolutely phenomenal courage to put yourself out to the world like that. He is such an inspiration to everyone, he never held back in his singing ability and he will never hold back in life. Love this guy. Good on you John. You keep fighting the good fight. We are all behind you sending you healing.

@@shoresaresandy I thought so too. I heard his doctors are working out a way for him to loosen that side of his face. It was the radiotherapy that made it go hard. I just loved hearing his voice, his laugh and hearing he still wants to perform. ♥️

@EileenSpeakman Hi Eileen. I'm also still finding new "oldies and not so old". The thing is with John, every time he performs a song live, he does something different with it, so it's like it's new each time. He is such a fantastic, versatile and consummate performer. It would be great if our John could see it, but he doesn't watch anything about himself usually. His boys usually pick things up and tell him about it. Being an amateur and this being written by an avid fan, you never know he might watch a bit of it someday and he can correct my mistakes 🤩🤗 Very happy you and so many others are enjoying it. 23 to 26 start tonight and then I have done a couple of Aussie Christmas specials too which I'm quite happy with that will go live closer to Christmas Thanks Eileen. John Lennon was comparing his dark time to Elvis's very dark period when he was in a lot of pain, addicted to painkillers and put on a lot of weight (fat Elvis period). It was so sad what some of our most loved musicians had to go through. Thinking of MJ too ❤😢😊 I do believe that Australia respects our celebrity's privacy more than other countries especially the US.

Yep saw an interview where John said no disrespect to Michael or Elvis but he didn't want to have to buy a monkey or hire a skating rink at 3 00am and hire people to hang out with him. For the most part Australian entertainers live pretty normal lives.

@@AussieDebb I have watched them all so far you guys are doing a great job. I have watched heaps of different reactors. I understand they have to be fair to other people's requests for their favourite artists. I enjoy catching up on all the Aussie stuff. There is just so much that I want them all to see of John. There are not enough reactions to the main event concert. That whole concert was bloody fantastic. I don't know how many times I have watched the umbrella gag that they pulled on Anthony. I love "I need a man" and the Joleen number where the guys are dancing around. I haven't found much for the strong hearts concert's with Olivia and John which is a bit disappointing because what I have seen it looked fantastic as well
