I still remember when Ranjini started anchoring for Star singer back in 2007, the amount of hate she received for being bold and confident in her ways! I still remember my Amma saying to me "Girls should be confident like her". I loved watching the shows she anchored and the way she presented herself on stage and with the people around her. Now, after many years, when people talk about how Women need to be strong, confident and empowered in life, Ranjini had started that trend long back but Malayalees, including Women, showed a lot of hatred towards her. I really appreciate her attitude towards life. Such a gem of a personality. Thanks Dhanya for bringing her to the show.

I remember watching Ranjini winning Miss Kerala in Asianet , I think it was the year 2000 or 2001, after a few years she started working in idea star singer and tbh everyone like her presentation but at the same time there were critics who had issues with her speaking in English etc, and then star singer brought Remya to anchor a few episodes and immediately ppl could see how fake and artificial she was.. everyone missed Ranjini’s authenticity and Ranjini was brought back ❤
