Suga want through a lot. His parents didn't support his love for music, so he was kinda on his own for a while. He tried to sell his music but would get scammed and didn't get paid for it. He once said that in order to pay for his sound/production equipment so he could make music, he would walk everywhere and eat minimally. If he took the bus, he wouldn't be able to afford a $2 meal. Even once he was a trainee at BigHit, he had to keep working a part time job to survive and live with the others in a single space (they all had to sleep in the same room). His part time job was delivery, but he got hit by a car while riding his bike and broke his shoulder, and he didn't tell anyone because he couldn't afford to go to the hospital but he didn't want BigHit to fire him. He ended up going through 3 years of intense training with a broken shoulder and it resulted in some permanent damage that makes it hard for him to do some of the moves. He suffered so much physically and emotionally to get where he is today. I'm so proud of him though.

He dislocated it, he didn’t break it. And before anyone says im minimizing it- I have EDS and dislocate joints every day. It’s painful as fuck, miserable in fact, and I’ve had many surgeries to correct torn ligaments with cadaver tissues, and I’m on a ton of medications for it. But still, dislocations are different from fractures and I feel like I needed to make that distinction for anyone that reads this thread.

Yea suga grew up tough....he used to sell his music on da street cuz da man was poor, but he would always get scammed. Their styles are completely different. It's not on who did better ,it's more like "damn u saw how different their techniques are?" Like suga went in with the speed and savageness. Rm went with speed but more lyrical cuz from the rapline namjoon has the best wordplay and he played with language to his advantage, and jhope's energy and being the hypeman for the three how he begins in and goes crazy and his flow. I personally feel like all are talented rappers. But they all do possess certain traits OVER the others. Suga is his known rawness/blunt lyrics and speed. U should definitely react to Agust d to see how strong he is and see THE LAST to see his rawness,so good I love them. Rm is main rapper so he is credited for having the clearest speech when rapping, rapping to complicated beats, unique flow, rm has speed he just doesn't prioritize it, and his key trait- his wordplay is more mind boggling, it can be raw but also cryptic too. Now jhope is the newest to rap but the boy doesn't falter. Jhope like the others can be aggressive but his natural style is more energetic, he has this spunkiness to him that the others don't have. I also love his tone and his flow ,it's pleasing to hear. These are traits they all share mind u, but I'm mentioning what they are credited for the most and bring to the rapline as their specialty. Don't compare who did best on a track, compare how different their techniques were instead
