25:55 to make a deal with the devil is to kiss the devil. so jin basically made a deal with tae (a 'fallen angel') to turn back time because his other members were losing themselves into temptation (apples for sin (adam and eve), the icarus and daedaelus reference about ignorance and the shooting arrow which refers to a psalm about betrayal). this caused the statue to bleed through the eye. a weeping angel means a monster who can send others back in time which caused the whole wings theory about time traveling. tae is somewhat the statue because when weeping angels look at each other or are seen by any other living being they turn to stone, which means tae turned into stone when noticed by jin. jin kissed 'statue tae'. right after jin made the deal, his face begins to crack. i feel as if when you seal a deal with the devil, the price to pay him back is twice, thrice or even more which becomes self-destructive. i get lowkey annoyed when people assume jin just kissed tae but there's a bigger story than that. this comment is so uselss but i hope this helps lol edit: small notice but i am actually aware of the other theories armys have also come up with that make WAY more sense then my theory. half of this comment is taken from theories and my own personal input. i have been aware of the other theories way before making this comment. thank you 😊

I am full on with your interpretation about fallen angels, giving in to temptation, deals with the devil etc., but I cannot help but be surprised about the connection you make between V depicted as the fallen angel, the ultimate temptor and the weeping angels, that I only know as the most scary alien creatures of the "Doctor Who"-universe. The way you write about weeping angels is the way writer and "Doctor Who"-showrunner Steven Moffat created them for the great episode "Blink" . He invented them as monsters who appear as statues seemingly made of stone due to their inability to move while being "quantum-locked" as long as eyes are on them, but really quickly moving when unseen, even in the shortest blink of an eye. When they are able to touch you, they send you back in time in order to feed off the resulting time paradox energy. These weeping angels don't actually cry, no tears are falling from their eyes, they just look like it. In reality they simply cover their eyes when they are not "hunting". This is a safety measure to avoid locking eyes with another weeping angel as that would quantum-lock both eternally. I tried to find some other references of weeping angels in classic art or mythology, but all could find was the relation to Doctor Who, so the details in your explanation, that are about them don't work for me. The story behind the part in Blood Sweat and Tears where Jin kissed the statue is that Jin couldn’t find out how to love himself and he wanted to be like V bc he saw that V was perfect but Jin didn’t think himself was perfect so that’s why he kissed the statue and jin’s face started to crack bc he tried being someone else that wasn’t him. The mv is talking about the battle against good and evil and v is like the devil and jin is part of the good, but he is dead. J hope standing in the black liquid is showing that he can withstand the devils temptations and control his emotions and he shoots an arrow at v,so that is where v jumps off the ledge into the sea where he looses his wings, while RM is fighting against depression of loosing a friend and is being tempted by v to join the evil side of death. While jimin has an apple or something representing temptations to eat the apple, but suga covers his eyes with the blindfold to stop him from the temptation. Idk about jk's part cause i never saw anything about his part but i think he is evil. So anyway rm finally decides to join the evil side with v. Jin wants to save his friends from v's temptations, so he gives up his soul to the evil side, as seen where he kisses the statue with the devils wings. So when the statue is breaking and filled with colors its saying that all of them are free from v. But jin realizes it wasnt a very good decision because now his friends are depressed and the girl he loved is depressed. So thats why he is cracking because it is saying that his death had caused depression. I may not be right 😅🤷‍♀️
