That said, she returns to using "vous" once Scarlet Moth leaves his lair. Hawk Moth and Mayura also use "vous" since their interactions are pretty much the same as Gabriel and Nathalie.

Nathalie was hired to help them to find magical artifacts, ending up falling in love with him, but her friendship with Emilie made her repress that love. Now, that love she feels for Gabriel is no longer the same ever since "Evolution". Like she said, she now lives at the mansion because of Adrien. Now everything she will do will be for Adrien and not for Gabriel, so you can imagine the type of problems that will come between her and Gabriel in the future.

It's not hard for any good researcher to know their existance or to find the location of the Guardians' temple at Tibet. Having in consideration Nathalie was a hunter of magical artifacts, she must have heard of the Miraculous. Not just that, but don't forget the theories about Tomoe Tsurugi being a descendant of a previous Miraculous holder, Tomoe Gozen, who was a female samurai (and the Tsurugis are descendants of some powerful female samurai). About why Emilie used the Peacock Miraculous... Well, that's very obvious.

the episode shows that Adrian has grown a lot as a character, he talks sensibly about his feelings and does not want to put pressure on Marinette in any way, he even left his love for Lady bug to give her a choice. But Marinette continues to behave completely strangely, then she reasons that she can't love anyone, that she needs to give up any feelings, but decides to tell herself that she loved cat noir, this is purely her self-suggestion, she continues to deceive herself that she has no feelings for Adrian, even when she loved Adrian, she repeats exactly the same mistakes, as if specifically showing us that she can't understand her feelings sensibly at all, and it's very unpleasant to see her stagnation in feelings for 5 seasons.... I hope marinette will stop deceiving herself and open her feelings to Adrian.❤

With everything thats happened, we forgot that Gabriel was not the only one who missed Emelie, Nathalie did to, and although Nathalie knew Emelie did not want to be brought back, she couldnt resist the possibility that they could bring her back if they managed to get the miraculous. Despite the things she and Gabriel did as villains, Nathalie believed it would all have been worth it if Emelie could be brought back into all of their lives. Knowing now how unstable Gabriel has become, Nathalie decided to stay for Adrien's protection and accept Emelie's blessing to look after him as a mother and not let Gabriel get in the way of doing so, unfortunatly, despite understanding now that had she abided by Emelie's word from the beginning she would have had more of a chance to stop Gabriel, now, she has no other choice but to help him get the miraculous, because with both her and Gabriel's inevitable doom, she either helps save all of them, or risk leaving Adrien to live out the remainder of his life as an orphan.

I love that Nathalie isn't taking any more of Gabe's crap and considering the gaslighting he was doing to Adrien last episode that's exactly what this whole "good dad" thing is: crap. My honest hope for an endgame is that Nathalie becomes the sole guardian of Adrien because she does care about him, but we'll see if she makes it to the end or at least, doesn't get arrested for aiding a super criminal.

1. This episode along with referring to Natalie as Safari using the power of the Goat Miraculous also refers to Natalie's PASSION towards making sure that Adrien won't be alone and Marinette and Adrien's newly developed PASSIONATE love towards each other. 2. This episode continues the linear story we've been having so far. In "Evolution", right after Gabriel got the Miraculous they had to get the Rabbit Miraculous back from him since that was the most powerful one out of all of them. Then in "Multiplication", after getting the Rabbit Miraculous, they addressed Felix but lost any lead they had on defeating Monarch and also discover that Monarch is now able to give the powers of the Miraculous to his akumatized villains without giving them the physical Miraculous. In "Destruction", we see how this happened. Now that the season is set up, in "Jubilation" we set up Ladybug realizing that she might have feelings for Cat Noir and Cat Noir realizing that his feelings for Ladybug could be used against him, he decided to shut down his feelings for Ladybug. "Jubilation" leaves us with two questions, one about how Monarch is giving powers to his akumatized villains and the other about the state of Marinette and Adrien's feelings for each other. The first question is addressed in "Illusion" and the second one is addressed in "Determination" ending with them realizing their feelings for one other. This episode shows us the aftermath of "Determination" in the background while the the episode mainly focuses on Natalie. 3. Marinette now chooses to pursue Cat Noir as it is much easier for her to be open with him than it is with Adrien due to everything they have been through together and how it made them closer.

Honestly the main thing I like about this season is Nathalie she made things very interesting, also I just love her and Adrien's relationship and I want her along with Gorilla (what happened to him I legit just realized writing this we haven't seen him this season 😨 or maybe I'm blind) to adopt Adrien and leave that shitty house. These last few seasons where Adrien is realizing that Natalie is having the same symptoms his mom had before she went into the coma is very sad considering in this episode he was so worried for her he wanted to use the miraculous to use the wish to save her 😭. I have to say right now Safari's design is one of my favorites out of all the akumatized forms we've seen in this series.

Now she has to choose which side she will go on, and that's what I love about her character. Now she has to choose between two promises. Adrien is a good bean. I think that's what him holding both of the miraculous shows. He has the wish in his hands and while it's obviously tempting, he doesn't put blinders on and ignore the consequences that would have for everyone else. He's got all the same reasons as Gabe, if not more, considering he and LB are at a disadvantage, but he still makes the moral choice. Meanwhile, what did Gabe do when he was given the moral choice in Evolution? Idk, I think it's an interesting dichotomy. Adrien has grown and matured by leaps and bounds, meanwhile Gabriel is steadily regressing.

This episode imo is the best season 5 episode and the best miraculous episode ever this far (only seen up to 14 because I am watching season 5 in order). I love that this episode is Adrien is the main character with Natalie being the secondary main character. I love we got to see and hear Emilie (she voices by Tara strong which fun fact Emilie was made to look like Tara strong since way back in season 1 which is the picture of Emilie from Simon says. This video cuts out (in my opinion) the part of the entire episode which is when mister bug is fighting Safari and he tells her that someone will always love her. Finally fun fact: a line exclusive to the English version is "I am not an influencer" which was an improvisation by Bryce papenbrook The original line in the French version is something like this "wow you must really love me; sorry but I don't feel the same way."

Zamber, you have to understand that, from the moment Nathalie used the Peacock Miraculous to save Gabriel back in season 2 finale, she became fated to die, as she used the Peacock Miraculous when it was damaged and she developed an illness that works like a cancer that cannot be cured. If Nathalie had stopped using the Peacock Miraculous after one use (at least until it was repaired) then it would take years for her to become this much sick (about 13 years). However, because she kept using the damaged Peacock Miraculous, the illness developed much faster.

Aside from Adrien and Mari adorableness ('cause let's face it: That's this show in a nutshell) I love this episode since through Ladynoirs performance, it subtlely explains why Chat Noir used to...underperform in combat at the beginning (which was one of my major points of criticism of the show by Season 3): His feelings for Ladybug distracted him like Mari's feelings for Chat distracted her in this episode. And now that his interest has shifted to Marinette, he is finally performing as well in fights as I always wanted to see him do. I'm so proud of my sweet little boy.

Natalie was a BOSS here! It was about time she realized what a madman Gabriel was. The love square is still a mess, but I liked the fact that it happened. That means that when the reveal finally happens, Marinette and Adrien love both sides of their loved one's personality. When the reveal happened before the reverse, the love didn't feel too genuine, especially from Marinette's part.

So Nathalie has always been one of my favorite characters and the one I simp for the most so when I saw this episode, I was very much not okay. Passion is by far the best episode of Season 5. I mean, where do I even start with this passionate work of art. Nathalie being a supportive Mother to Adrien is wholesome, and her putting Gabriel on his ass was satisfying, as well as pathetic for Gabriel. Safari was badass in costume, and definitely performance. Emilnath, Emilie x Nathalie, is better than Gabeath without a doubt(and considering what Gabriel does to Adrien later on, it’s safe to say Adrien is better off with two moms). Adrien getting more screen time than Mari for once was incredible. Plagg not liking Adrienette happening reminds me why he’s the best kwami Tikki willingly roasting her own holder makes me want to give her a chunk of my respect. What can I say? This episode is just great. There is one issue I do have with it. Lady Noire going from an abusive piece of shit, to a cringe flirter to Misterbug, makes me question if Plagg is uncomfortable being next to her.
