In master Fu's defense, he never had a say in the matter when he got chosen to become guardian. He was selected from a very young age to what was considered one of the highest of honors, he couldn't say no even if he wanted to. He was taken away from his family and friends in order to train extensively in probable isolation from outside the temple. It seems very natural that he would have developed a hatred for the miraculous by the time he created the sentimonster

You know, Master Fu was 14 (the same age as Marinette) when he created that sentimonster. He is 186 and that event with the sentimonster happened 172 years ago. But the decision he made to use the Peacock Miraculous because he was hungry was more than just that. He was unhappy in the temple. He never asked or wanted to be a Guardian and that test of watching the Miracle Box was the last drop.

@@arnaudgerard1971 The amok is connected to the sentimonster and sentimonsters are as powerful as the emotions that created them. Master Fu's sentimonster reflected the former's anger towards the Miraculous, being why it was powerful. Mayura was able to sense that through the amok.

Something interesting about this episode is that it establishes the existence of other miracle boxes, implying the existence of other miraculous. Now the temp has been restored, along with any that might of been inside it at the time.

Ok This is extremely important: All Miraculous episodes before this one (except for the specials and the season finales) had the name of an akumatized villain but this is the first epidode in which this changes. Now there's a new pattern that will repeat til the very end of season 4: "ALL THE EPISODES HAVE THE NAME OF AN AKUMATIZED VILLAIN OR A SENTIMONSTER" This was made on purpose by the writers so those who pay attention can discover secrets through the titles. There's a particular upcoming espisode this season that was huge when it came out since everyone freaked out because we learned something shocking due to its title. So... if you see an episode whose title seems off, remember the pattern and you'll find out the hidden truth... Then Thomas confirmed that this is how the peacock Miraculous broke, when it fell from the Miraculous box and Fu lost it. And you know... they don't add scenes just because. If Kagami's mom and Chloe's mom were hearing the news of the temple it's because it means something

Yeah, in the same way Hawk Moth can only create one akuma at the time, Mayura can only create on amok, but that doesn't prevent others from using the powers of the Butterfly and the Peacock. However, whoever has the Peacock Miraculous can decide the fate of any sentimonster because they can remove the amok, what causes the sentimonster to disappear.

be advised that a sentimonster becomes what the peacock miraculous holder makes it, with that said, sentimonsters are not immortal, they can however live a regular long life and have certain abilities depending on how they are created. Feast was created from master Fu's emotions against the Miraculous and the order of the guardians, resulting in a beast that had a never ending hunger, a hunger that would remain unsatisfied until it got all the miraculous and everything tied to it,. Feats was not immortal but because of how it was created, it was capable of withstanding severe damage in order to accomplish satisfying its appetite, allowing it to go into a hibernated state once it fell into the lava, creating a shell around it to freeze it in time.

The season 3 finale can awake a mix of emotions on the Miraculers. On one side, it is quite surprising, as it is full of great twists, and places the show in another level for season 4 (which is a great rollercoaster of emotions), but then there are other things that made the fans to become quite... frustrated. Not to mention the one thing that led a great number of fans to scream with frustration. But since the series becomes much darker with each season, it makes sense the finale become much more intense and less heroic.

With the metal detector part, I have a theory that the staff was the only thing that could have been retrieved from Feast unlike everything else he consumed. Everything Feast has ever eaten is at this point destroyed and almost non-existent, however, if the staff would get the same treatment, it would destroy sentimonster since the Amok would be digested along with it so purposefully Feast let it be undamaged meaning it was the only thing that continued existing inside Feast so the only thing the metal detector could actually detect. Everything else at this point turned into bubbles and nothing more.

There's also the fact Ladybug's power is influence by luck as well. That's how all of the Lucky Charms, despite being random, are always the key for the user to solve any problem. Remember when in "Heroes' Day" Ladybug got a mini Miraculous box? She thought it was a sign that they would defeat Scarlet Moth, when in actuallity it allowed her to perceive the villain's surprise attack.

@@rafaelmatos5851 Indeed, the lucky charm uses the best possible solution in order to pick the right object for the right situation while taking into account the thought process of the user. Ladybug miraculous holders can influence their lucky charms by either their personalities (either convoluted plans or straight-to-the-point solutions) or desires (if the holder knows what they want, the lucky charm will grant it but still will shape it to fit the right possibility, however being more specific can become risky so it's better to trust the lucky charm if you're not certain how to win the battle, otherwise there will be no luck left). So yeah, while LB possibly didn't know how Feast exactly "digest" everything they eat, she had enough luck to get a charm that would know beforehand how Fu's staff is the only "real" object inside of the monster.

Very VERY interesting episode packed with lore, and backstory. This was the episode that gave rise to a theory which sent the whole fandom into a big saga, with lots of debates, disagreements and sad truths. I'd suggest re-watching this episode with a more critical eye. While not my favorite, or even in my tops, it provides us with a lot more info. The season finale is...conflicting to say the least. While it was not the best, I quite liked it since it opened up quite a few doors for S4 (which by the way, is AMAZING) and kept the gate open for a lot of other things. I'm of the opinion that if you like it, you like it, but if you don't, you don't. S3 as a whole has been a pretty big hit or miss for people, and combined with the year long hiatus after it, the show lost a lot of viewers.

It's kinda dark that Feast killed all the guardians and they all got revived by Ladybug's lucky charm. Until then, they were probably dead in Feast's stomach for more than 100 years. Also I personally think that the Peacock miraculous is powerful and efficient than the Butterfly one.

They say everything Feast eats becomes sealed in his pocket dimention and are slowly digested. Since the sentimonster became dorment for 172 years, it's possible they were still alive. But I guess we will never know... especially because Ladybug's power can repair any damage caused by a sentimonster and/or akumatized villain since the moment they were created... even revive those who died.
