I didn't expect his voice to be so high and soft. When he's behind a mic, he sounds so HEAVY and DEEP. I would've never expected it! I remember seeing a clip on KZbin, and [I think it was] Sumner said that retrospectively the saddest thing was that Ian’s serious and dark persona is what he will be remembered for (aswell as his amazing lyrics and voice ofcourse). He recalls they were always laughing and making jokes etc, it was a fun time all round until Ian’s tragic end. But Ofcourse the deep lyrics and blank expressions on Curtis’ face in photographs depict a darkness. Like his voice in this audio, he was by all accounts very soft and very playful. Sad and tragic. If you have treatment resistant depression or anxiety get a gene site test. It’s a swab on the inside of your mouth and the report shows how you metabolize different medications in case you need to start at a lower or higher dose. I’m a rapid metabolizer with cptsd, mdd and a panic disorder (it’s the trauma lol) and I never felt help from my meds until this test helped us understand how I process and what my needs are. I hope we never lose another soul to suicide. I’ve been through hell over the past three years while my doctors worked to diagnose an autoimmune disease. The pain and symptoms were more than I could stand and I wanted to end it. New Dawn Fades got me through such awful times and now as I’m working towards remission it’s my survival song. “I’ve walked on water, run through fire can’t seem to take this anymore. It was me, waiting for me. Hoping for something more”.

The pharmaceutical industry is modern day sorcery and anti depressants are a scam, just as electric shock treatment was. The cure for depression is natural living not the over processed artificial nightmare world we now exist in and the billion chemicals we are exposed to every time we leave our front doors.

@@bolegneseit doesn't always get better. Clichés won't solve everything. It very often gets worse, much worse.

I think most doctors with any kind of understanding of depression are starting to understand the monoamine deficiency theory is a load of bull. There’s so many things that can cause depression like inflammation, metabolic disorders and environmental factors.

Hate to tell you this but it's fake, Joy Division never realised any merchandise. They preferred to just let the music speak for its self even the album cover for unknown pleasures is an image which they found in an old encyclopedia.
