I watched this earlier, had a think and watched it again. He has to go after this interview. He says he's prepared to take his share of the blame while simultaneously blaming everyone apart from himself. He bought the players, he picks the team, the tactics are his. It's his job to motivate and get the best from his staff. Please, for the love of God. He hasn't got the self respect to walk so you HAVE GOT TO SACK HIM! I can't believe they just let him spend a million pound on a player given his record over 12 months. Season ticket renewal is in a couple of months for early bird. At the moment i won't be renewing my hospitality ticket and if i miss the early bird I won't be doing it at all.

Correct Ian, you have now been in charge of this fantastic club for 5 years and we are still in league 1? I do agree with a couple of things you say. However, this team is one you have built, if they are not performing for you being clearly, we have a bigger issue. I think it’s time Shazza listens to the fans and makes a change. I would happily take Steve Evans after watching our performance today. Team full of bottles, from a mentality created by the manager….

I totally understand that it's frustrating when you see players making poor decisions and not competing but it is absolutely the responsibility of the management team to help the players find the mental strength and compusure. It's not good enough to say that's up to the players.

You set them up, Ian. Train them daily. Sign them. Mucking about at the back. Not getting the balls in the box. CB's shouldn't top possession stats. Midfield being bypassed. Strikers miss chances but don't look confident.

We simply can't go on like this week in, week out the same excuses. It's your one tactic that is ruining this clubs chances of promotion. You play players out of position. You have drained all the confidence out of the players. You constantly make changes. You play players who are not performing IE, Santos and Thomason. You don't make changes earlier enough to try and make a difference. It's no longer working. You've lost the majority of the fan base, and if you carry on snagging your players off, you'll lose the dressing room too if you've not already. EVATT OUT

Sympathy? He is the manager and is both responsible and accountable for the performance of the team. A team that looks like it has no direction, game plan or tactics, ALL of which are down to the manager. This defeat is down to the manager pure and simple In his pre-match interview he referenced the win at Exeter - This was a very lucky win and prior to the 80th minute we were rubbish, no direction etc. If you open your eyes or take off those rose tinted spectacles you will see IE as the tailor in the story of "The Emperors New Clothes"
