This public defender, nor his "super busy with an emergency" associate, could bother to SHOW UP to court, but that's ok. Nobody is more important than the government bro club. Then the guy has the nerve to tell Shannon to walk to his office. Why didn't you walk to court DIK FACE? We went over there. The guy is embedded with EW's bias BS and is Ian's long lost second testicle, as his other one is still waiting to drop.

The judge "apologizes" for courts lack of correct process for representation but how about holding the court criminally responsible as the defendant was held responsible for missing a court date. Oops, no big deal of the court or lawyers goof but if the defendant goofs hold her in contempt, arrest her and give her a bond with the threat of violent if she goofs again. SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS

He did not even consider the fact that she said she doesn’t eat the days she has to take off work he is going to find her guilty anyway, punish the homeless with the judge and that horrible attorney!

Guess I'd see ya sometime on Monday 🤣 We REALLY need to get our courts back to being fully transparent and fully available (free for We, fees for the attorneys since they have the privilege to practice law). If this is one of the good judges things must be really terrible when it's the run of the mill judge. The prosecutor should be ashamed of himself. Discretion is the better part of valor, and the knighthood is empty there. Weaponization of government, we're hearing about it all the time now. As things decay the response should be reassessment toward helping instead of the hindering obtuse punishments meted out when no reasonable alternatives were present for the attacked citizens. I think other parts of the government are to blame as well, like the crushing excessive spending in DC from the gov and FED that has caused immense inflation inflicting the most pain on those with fewest resources. Not good.

Setting a case for trial is just a way of moving the case along. This will not go to trial. It will b worked out one way or another. The court system is never easy but if u want to fight a $40 ticket than walk the two blocks. The public defender can give her advice that will bring a revolution to her problem. Don't question my compassion. U have no idea how many times I sat at my desk fighting back tears.
