@user5.563 жыл бұрын
And i think the Judges should be nice no matter the charges (alleged charges) .. Well unless someone try's to hit them or spit on them etc..
@UndertakerU2ber3 жыл бұрын
@@user5.56 The term “charged” refers to a defendant that’s been accused of committing a crime by the prosecution, so in this case, the individual has been charged but has not been issued a verdict on whether they are convicted or absolved of wrongdoing. Unfortunately, in some cases, the courtroom has been twisted into being “guilty until proven innocent.” Judges have ruled that for traffic violations, for example, a cop’s mere accusation that you were speeding can serve as “proof” enough to establish your guilt. They argue that when a cop attests that they witnessed you committing a crime, the cop is acting as a representative of the government, so “the government” witnessed you doing the alleged act. And since it’s the judge acting as a member of the government that’s deciding on whether or not you’re guilty, you have the burden of proof in establishing why “the government” is wrong in their accusations. Otherwise, they expect you to pay some fines since their belief that you were speeding hasn’t changed. While it might seem odd to think of why any officer would lie under oath just to get an innocent person they don’t personally know in trouble, there have been cases where cops will fabricate evidence and craft a false narrative of events to make arrests and get convictions under their name for promotions. Some are psychopathic/sociopathic where they get some sort of sick gratification from seeing them abuse their authority to intentionally get innocent people thrown in jail and ride along their suffering to get salary raises and rise up the chain of command. Sometimes, the issue comes from higher up, where the county/city/state is desperately relying on tickets and fines to sustain their economies, so they go out of their way to hit people with all sorts of bogus, exaggerated fines knowing that the court views the case as guilty until proven innocent, and that the person likely doesn’t have any evidence to prove their innocence.

Why did we stop hanging people like right outside the court house
@Oelsamtinj3 жыл бұрын
1. Someone would find a way to be outraged and offended by it. - so protests would run rampant. More trashed buildings and towns. 2. It is slightly unethical. The public would be exposed to a dead body in a government building. A lot of people cannot handle that. And we’d go back to point 1. Sorry if I took this question seriously lol
