Bix3 is was my first model trainer and ive never experienced the characteristic that you discribe and to be honest this in its stock setup is a lovely model to fly and glide mine certainly doesn't pitch down when applying throttle but wants to climb

You mention that you come from the balsa aircraft days; it shows. You display a good practical understanding of design, construction & the effect of aerodynamic forces on the airframe. I see so many foamie flyers that just don't seem to have a clue about some very basic things.

I'm on the same page I wish someone in the industry would wake up and make a good dual tractor setup like this I was going to do the same with a bixler but trying to cram a vector system in this airplane would be a pain.

The perfect trainer plane, you have out done the professional designers. The props are no more vulnerable than the original setup. The result is a quieter, more predictable flight

My Bix3 is still pretty much stock, but I'm just about sold on this idea. I checked your site, and don't see much about specs for the power kit, or anything about recommended motors, other than 3s. If I could see a little more, I'd love to do this to my bird.

I did a similar thing to a Dolphin EDF - never liked EDFs so I hacked off the mount and used two stick mounts under the wings with 2204 1900kv black widow motors -
