My dad sadly passed away yesterday after a years long battle with cancer. This is one of his favourite songs and one of mine to this day, my dad did anything for us and gave my family everything in times where we had nothing. This song is more relevant than ever. Don't forget to love and smile with those you hold dearest, one day they'll be needed elsewhere❤

It was already in my head this morning when I turned on the Pluto app while making breakfast to watch some CSI and lo and behold, an episode from 2003 had this song as music in the show. Total karma and It has been in my head all day, hence I'm here tonight, i needed to listen to the full version with lots of volume

After the last 2 years, this song is more relevant than ever. I heard he wrote this after reading George Orwell's 1984. Masterpiece either way and shows he's on the side of us that see through society for what it really is. Stay strong my fellow humans..... For Everything A Reason ❤️
@snelgrave1012 жыл бұрын
I always knew the gangsterment were shady and I never ever believed a single promise (or word for that matter) that comes out of any politicians mouth as each one is as sleazy as the last, After reading Animal farm myself it opened my eyes wider to the way the fucker's really are and the way society allows them to get away with it, The power structure in societies across the globe are all the same with the men and women in suits being the pigs at the top that only think for themselves and their fellow pigs and as usual us mere mortals are the dogs at the bottom that do the heavy lifting for a fraction of what these bastards take for themselves (George Carlin summed it up perfect: Their in a big club, And you ain't in it), Orwell was ahead of his time with Animal farm and 1984 I'm surprised both books haven't been banned in fascist Britain (There's time yet though with the Fuhrer Priti Patel in charge of the home office, our democratic right to protest and form an opinion and speak out against tyranny of government is all but banned) And what's sad about it is we're letting them away with it.

Fine, but are you going to allow unrestricted foreign travel while the pandemic is still on the go? Perhaps vaccine passports are a step too far for domestic events. Clusters were springing up early 2020. Once it took hold the govt was screwed. Symptoms are varied but you're wrong bro, it is detectable. Contact tracing has saved thousands in Asia Pacific countries, which had covid before and were therefore better prepared. Masks do offer limited protection for others if you are an asymptomatic carrier. You will probably never accept these facts. Let's just enjoy the wonderful Mr Brown.

Up my attic I have 2 mint BMX’s from 1986, one restored but never touched the road, the other new old stock parts made into a bike, again a carpet queen. This awesome video has given me inspiration to ride them on the seafront this summer 😁😁😁 At mid 50’s I hope my old bones can be a quarter as cool as Ian Brown 🙏🤞😎

Fucking brilliant song, brilliant chap and brilliant video. This is real music in my opinion. Also I respect Ian Brown for being a nice, down to earth person who as far as I know hasn't let fame go to his head and comes from a working class family like myself, respect.

Crazy to think that this is the same Ian Brown that fronted The Stone Roses, a band often praised for musical terms but never lyrical quality. This is an absolute masterpiece and an absolute lyrical masterclass. Well done Ian. Plus is anyone else absolutely buzzing that the Roses are back??
