Nice video and nice truck!! I have a very similar model tundra and want some good running boards, think i'll take a look at these for my rig.

Take a look at my other running board video. It’s called iArmor running boards. I like them better and it’s currently on my truck. I know it’s all subjective so I’m just putting it out there.

How are they now?

I purchased these because of the price and aesthetically pleasing look. Unfortunately they are package without the consideration that they are tossed around by the companies they pay to deliver them. I received mine damaged and scratched from Fedex just like i seen in many reviews. I called real trucks on Monday and started a claim, they said they would follow up with my case and to this day not a sinlge email or call.

Is there any adjustment for getting them closer or tucked under the truck more?
@chicagohandyman3 жыл бұрын
No, just enough to get the alignment adjusted.

Have the brackets rusted out at all?
@chicagohandyman2 жыл бұрын
There’s a bit of surface rust. But it’s still solid.

Those hang kinda low...looks like they are lower than the undercarriage. That’s could pose a problem when off road

Definitely would not recommend for off roading. Get them if you want something that looks good and at a good price.

The ones I ordered are aluminum. Basically just steps on a company truck. Definitely not very offroad worthy

what are the cons?

We got a lot of snow here last week. The steps were a bit slippery with snow. Not a problem if you're careful when there's snow. I'd recommend the original iBoard running boards if you have to deal with snow.

It looks like the bottom part of the step hangs kinda low. Any problems with it hitting things?
@tome55275 жыл бұрын
If your concerned about a slip factor for snow or rain, maybe consider some skateboard grip tape cut to your desired dimensions to add to these running boards, should do the trick. Just a thought...

@@JorgePda23 if offloading is your goal I'd go with something else they are low and aluminum. Go with steel if your looking for sliders. They work great for steps though
@kanakaoiwi16095 жыл бұрын
Maybe not a good idea to go off roading with these.
@chicagohandyman5 жыл бұрын
True.
@davidschlarp16064 жыл бұрын
Well yeah they are steps not sliders

Nice now you have less clearance under your truck. 😒🙄
