You're right, Chuck. The Zadie Smith extract from "Suffering Like Mel Gibson" is from a personal essay. Did I call it a speech? Sorry, definitely not a speech.

Work with your teacher on this, but yes, you get to choose. Doesn't have to be exactly 40. It could be less, but shouldn't be more.
