I was 13 when this brochure was printed. Nearly 20 years ago (sigh). Still, it’s nice to see how far cordless vacuum technology has progressed as the few that were available back then didn’t exactly pack a punch.

13:21 I am not sure about recently made ones, but I bought the ProHeat Pet in 2016 when it was brand new. I don't know the model from memory but it is purple. I can tell you it does NOT use the exhaust air to heat the water. It has a heating element inside the handle and when you squirt the solution down it will rapidly pass through the heating element and superheat it. Like if you had a black garden hose laid out in your hard in summer, it will give you hot water for a rather long time. I still put hot water in the tank beforehand anyway. It works, the cleaner does a really good job.

I remember back in the early 90’s when I was a child my mom would give me the dust buster black and decker to suck up little fungal gnats around her plants. The best of times

Like old brochure of past and Present of vacuum cleaners my favourite would have been the Dyson cylinders and uprights vacuum cleaners which I still like now and I think my Bissell carpet shampoo in the brochure cause mine is white and I've had that for some years

Funny you say the Henry was probably better made...the one in the picture perhaps, as that picture is of a Henry from pre-2002, if not even older, as the newer floor tool with two pedals was in use by 2002. By 2005, the Henry would have flimsy foot switch on top, along with 2-speed rocker switch in the side of it. It would also have had colour-matched hub caps on the wheels. I know the first Henrys with footswitches had an allegedly poorer quality small single-fan motor (I say allegedly as I bought a single-speed Henry in January 2004 and the motor lasted 19 years, but others claim to have had much less), but I am not sure if the motor improved in quality when the 2-speed model was introduced. I have a feeling it was the same motor, and that the motor was only changed to a twin-fan when the switches were moved to the top of the cleaner - I think around 2007-ish.
