I’ve never seen someone review a signature model guitar without knowing literally anything about it.

The F1912979 number at the back is the serial number! It indicates that it was made in the FujiGen factory (F) for the 2019 model year (19). The subsequent digits (12979) suggest that it was the 979th guitar manufactured in the month of March.

Pickup were cruiser neck on middle and neck Cruiser bridge on bridge. I've confirmed this with ibanez part list on their site for atz100 Hi pass filter and separste tone for bridge. Cts500k pot i believe.

Doesn’t Andy normally use a bridge Cruiser in the neck position?
@redcomn4 жыл бұрын
@@Indiegaze not on this model apparently.
@p6x24 жыл бұрын
@@Indiegaze He does on all his other signatures the AT100SB, AT200, AT300, AT100CL, AT10; DiMarzio DP187 neck and middle. DP186 is neck and DP187 is bridge usually.

The Andy Timmons sig grew out of the Ibanez RT series that were made very briefly in the early 90’s. I have a red RT650. It was designed to be a more “traditional” style take on a super strat. RG body shape, but made from alder with a photo flame top, binding on body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, HSH vintage pickups, non-locking trem, Gotoh locking tuners, and mother-of-toilet seat pickguard. The neck is their Viper neck, which was more like a Fender C shape. Much chunkier than their Wizard necks.
@redcomn4 жыл бұрын
Btw it's gotoh hapm locking tuner. You can change the post height and it easily lock by twisting to tune.

Guitar tone sounds great on this one! Use Raw Vintage springs to loosen up your tremolo. Although this guitar has 5 springs which is absurd. First noiseless pickups meant to emulate single coils that sound relatively good with gain that I have heard! Just take 2 springs off and you'll probably like it.
