I picked up a Es 40 and loved it so much I got a second one in black tuned it To D . Great guitars. I think calling it an entry level guitar is not accurate. It's great for beginners as well as pros. I've been playing for years and these guitars are as good or better than guitars that cost much more.
@beneunson Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! It's entry level in terms of price, but I have used it in a number of professional situations and it works great! I agree, it's great for beginners and pros alike 😀

Randomly played one of these in my local GC when I went in to look at a 1K Charvel. The Charvel was crap but the Ibanez blew me away. Feels amazing, plays amazing, looks amazing. Couldn't believe the price. Didn't buy it because I don't really need another axe, but came really close because it was so good. Price is amazing too. Definitely no case or gig bag included though.

gr8 review. Is it good for smaller hands/shorter fingers? can't decide between this and the pacifica 112j.
@beneunson Жыл бұрын
I personally think it would work well as it has a slightly shorter 25.00 inch scale length (instead of the typical longer Strat-type 25.5 inch scale) making the fret spacing a bit smaller.
@fastpeak Жыл бұрын
that's a cool guitar ben, but you'd sound amazing on a "wet blanket with a bunch of clotheslines"! ps- sounds lorber-ish

I have this exact guitar it blows my mind so many different tones and super easy to play! I had bought a sterling cutlass with roasted neck this had by far better electronics and was more comfortable and I generally play a Earnie sting ray and to top it off it’s like a soft peach color

What can you tell us about the tuners? Are those massive or the guitar is out of tone frequently?

Very good review, not too long but quite comprehensive. I also like your playing. I have two Ibanez basses, the cheaper of which I actually like better. Bodes well for the AZES.

How is the 60 cycle hum on this?
@beneunson8 ай бұрын
Not too bad in my opinion - comparable to most strat-type guitars. Of course settings 2 and 4 are the quietest 😀
@lookforbriansjazz78328 ай бұрын
Thanks! I imagine the alter switch helps by turning the pups into humbuckers, yes?
@hammondcheeseman53615 ай бұрын
@lookforbriansjazz7832 except for the alt middle setting (neck + bridge ) yes all of the positions that engage multiple pickups are hum cancelling.

It does not come with hard case. Not even gigbag.
