Even though that thing is from 2001, It looks brand new straight out of the case! :o

Oxford Guitars have you thought about putting some ebony stain on?

Why would someone wanted to do that to a beautiful piece of rosewood like this one?

I have one of these. I think it's from 2003. A mean sounding guitar I must say.

Yeah, these are very well made and great sounding guitars.

Without coming across as to much of a 'nerd' lol, the blue model was Head's guitar, Munky's was the Grey one.
@leandrorequena16594 жыл бұрын
Actually that's incorrect
@pistonhedd4 жыл бұрын
@@leandrorequena1659 Actually it's correct. FYI watch last year's NAMM interview w/ Munky talking about the 20th anniversary model and he talks about the original models too and mentions which colour he and Head picked.
@leandrorequena16594 жыл бұрын
Just watched for the third time, didn't notice any mentions about which one they picked up. I'm pretty sure the signature models k7, back in 2001, were assigned the blue one to munky. Also a lot of live performances from that time on yt you can see they both playing on theirs k7s. I don't know how can you make confusion on an information that's been out there for years.

@@leandrorequena1659 kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpWQh5x7YtGGgpY 3 minutes in he mentions who had which colour.
@leandrorequena16594 жыл бұрын
@@pistonhedd oh I see, still can be an honest mistake from Munky making the statement, we all invert information/words by mistake, idk why he would say that anyway and why else would they switch signatures if it was not intended?

Fancy a straight swap for a Chapman ML3 Bea Baritone with Chapman hard case?
@OxfordGuitars4 жыл бұрын
Not really, but thanks for the offer.

@@OxfordGuitars :( ok. Thanks for the reply. Please let me know if you change your mind. I live in Warlingham surrey. I'm a huge Korn fan and been after one of these for years. I also have a Kurt Cobain Fender Jaguar with hardcase I'd be willing to swap. Many thanks.

It’s just a basic Ibanez rg model with 7 strings. I never understood why these were special besides being associated with korn. Such a simple guitar with few bells and whistles
@metaldemonseanknels7 ай бұрын
With that logic, all guitars are the same
@GeorgeZimmermen7 ай бұрын
@@metaldemonseanknels that makes absolutely zero sense
@metaldemonseanknels7 ай бұрын
@@GeorgeZimmermen I’m going by your logic, so yes. That does make zero sense. It’s not “just a basic rg with 7 strings” The bridge is not “basic” The neck is not the same No tone pot And the u-bar whammy is unique. Not sure why you think it’s “basic”

Way fucking overpriced for this. When I had the same one, I paid 1400 at guitar center for it.

Yes same here. I sold mine and really miss it though. I’m sure there are other 7 string guitars that blow this away or match this one for the same price but I have not really looked into it.
