Ibanez RG350DX DiMarzio The Tone Zone (Bridge) + DiMarzio Air Norton (Neck) - Sound Test

This is my first "test" on a video :) This video is not to show my guitar skills but only to show difference and tone of the two pickups. I hope it can help You all!

Having upgraded my Tokai Love Rock with Super Distortion & Super 2.. I'm gonna put in The Tone Zone & Air Norton in my Jackson Dinky with a gold Schaller Floyd Rose and brass block.

yep they sound a good in a basswood type guitar like the Ibanez / Jackson type guitars.. Not so in a Les Paul type guitar..

From personal experience I have found that the Dimarzio Breed pickup set is the best replacement for Basswood Body Ibanez RG. I have used the Evo2 bridge and Evo neck, the bridge is very nice and articulate but the neck sounds Fat. Dimarzio Mo Joe and Paf Pro is another great option... I feel the tonezone will sound better with a mahogany body maple top combo

nice demo.. i am planning to upgrade the pickups of my ibby 870z.. i was wondering if you can still provide the EQ settings for the amp especially the Bass, Middle, and Treble.. and also for the HT Metal Pedal (Bass Middle Treble) for me to have a solid idea on how bassy the tone zone pickup is... thanks

it would have been better if both of them have the same height so they have the same volume. It would be easier to compare. The neck pu has lesser volume than the bridge

It's almost the same height but the neck pu has less output than bridge :(

@@LFC-Star F-space it's better in bridge, in neck you can use F-spaced or not F-spaced without problems, don't worry! Just buy a F-spaced bridge then on neck you can choose what you find. I had F-spaced (Liquifire) on one Ibanez and a non F-spaced (Air Norton) on another Ibanez, no difference (except the pickup sound, sure)

if you've a mahogany body? Then go for Super Distortion (bridge) and Super 2 (neck) a very good combo.
