Okay guys so those of you wondering what i used for an amp. Believe it or not it was a solid state crate glx212 120watts. I had a vox satchurator going into a vox ice9 with my wahh and a dd-3 delay in the loop. Pretty much it haha it is my favorite solid state amp to this day!

They are ibanez pickups INF1(bridge) INF2(neck) i think. maybe the other way around. The neck is WAAAYYY better than any other ibanez ive ever played! The neck is very similar to a John petrucci musicman! (VERY THIN) the body is extremely thin! I quite like it that way personally. And the ZR tremelo is absolutley amazing! no matter what you do to it it stays in tune! As you can you see i hold the hole guitar by the whammy bar! so its an amazing guitar! 1-10 i give it a 9.9!

hi, an amazing axe you have. i got the same as you as well but mine is wk. i was thinking of replacing the stock pups with dimarzios. What do you recommend? I play halfstep tuning with 009 string gauge and the sound is too dull. do you think liquifire and crunch lab are good for this guitar?

also the 5-way selector switch between the pickups give a nice single coil tone very easily! Trust me if your thinking about buying the guitar definetely do it! Cheers!

Sounds amazing! Is the neck sort of flat on the back like on the RG350 and the other RG's? Compared to a round prestige neck, that didn't felt right for me.

Great playing dude \m/ how long does a note sustain on the 420 i mean in seconds [ after and before 12th fret ] ? i am planning on buying the 570 and i want to know if there is any sustain problem on the s series as they are so thin.

Ya! i actually wasnt gonna buy it because the pictures are terrible! I had to go to a shop and actually see it! The JS100 isnt as good as this one in my opinion! i like this better! but its all in the players feel so its just my opinion! I have this exact model, only thing I dislike is the pickups are limiting and the stabilizer bar on the bridge. It just adds additional tension to the bridge so it doesnt bend the pitch during palm muting or heavy bends with 2 or more stings that can cause a sour pitch. The stabilizer bar can be taken off in seconds. its just 2 springs and a bar. and still sounds great. I just didnt like the added tension of the bridge and it will not flutter with the bar in place. all in all i gave it a 8 out 10.

bernhardtsen74 you will NEVER get this guitar to go out of tune once u get it in tune. Ever. Period. It is the best ibanez for the money they ever made without a doubt

Hey! to answer your question, it is extremely glossy! the pictures online are terrible! Trust me its a beautiful guitar! Dont get the weathered black. get the blackberry sunburst! If your playing outside in the sunlight it glows red! seriously its beautiful! you can't go wrong! thanks!

It is a very thin neck. Its almost round but very thin. The RG necks dont feel as fast as these do to me. Its all preference man

Definitely the s420. Mainly because of the jems tremelo. It's just not a good tremelo. The ZR tremelo is by far my favorite ibanez tremelo! You can not bring it out of tune. The s420 is thinner as well and also feels like a better guitar to me. But I advise you to play both and make your own decision!

Koki Zuniga I do! It still plays great. I have to get some fret work done to it. Two frets up top need to be crowned and polished but other than that its still playing like day 1!

Well i have the Ibanez S420 WK .. I must say the sustain aren't that good, and they start to have to some problems with the mechanics. It also has problems with staying in tune. I would say it's a lovely guitar for the price, but not amazing. And Sustain.. Naaah not really :-) EMGs 4 ever \m/
