9.5 lbs !!!!! thank you so much for telling us , that's a deal breaker for me. I'mma stick to the 600 series and the ebs which are under 9lbs.

I agree, that weight is a deal breaker for me also. I have found that weights can vary a great deal You may be able to find a light one

Her name is lucky. Imagine if Ibanez was able to lock in something akin to this but 2 to 3 pounds lighter. Happy jamming!

I used to love Ibanez basses back in the 90’s. The offer me nothing today. I hate the input Jack at an angle one the top of the bass. The neck is too thin for my liking as well. Just not my flavor. If you like a really small neck, these are are awesome basses

The bass must have slim/thin neck. Titanium rods in neck help stablize it.

How old is your recording-equipment? I‘m sure: mutch too old! The tone is terrible. Can‘t you reminde the specs of the bass?

Hey Shamrock, I appreciate your comment, however, I'm not using recording equipment. Only a camera as I'm on a location and don't have all kinds of processing available. What you hear is the sound coming out of a small amp which is pretty accurate. Try using headphones that may help. Sorry you don't like it.
