I have a 2004 SA120 with two single coil S1 pickups and a V2 bridge humbucker, five position switch and each position sounds quite different. massive sounding pickups and a great playing guitar!

I have V1 and V2 on my SV470. I love it when it comes for warmness. Even on the drive, you can hear their tone itself

I had an Emerald Green RG470 from the early 90's that had the V7 and V8 pickups back in the day.

How are the v7 v8?..I think they are awesome sounding pickups...very similar to aftermarket dimarzios...don't know why people change them.....

I like those pickups a lot...V8 is very nice sounding. V7 isn't so good as V1 but it is a deseant sounding pickup✌️

V7 and V8 is also stock pickups in RG470 and that guitar is not on your list.

Thanks for sharing. I wonder how much V1/2 warmth is due to the hardtail rather than the pickups in this comparison. Not better or worse, just different and both were fine.
