I've watched a few demos of this guitar and I feel this is the best of them. For a demo, I'm always much more interested in hearing a guitar's tone clean with no distortion or effects. I think my mind is made up now. Thank you for posting this.

I actually like this better than the Ultra tele. The neck and the body are far more comfortable IMO. The SD pickups are incredible as well. I think this is way more bang for the buck!

Your bad playing makes puts my good playing to shame😂 Glad that you are enjoying you signature Talman. I don’t like Ibanez‘s shred machines, but my tastes lean toward vintage vibes. But the Talman is one of my favorite offset guitars. They went out of production when I wanted to get one so I bought a Squier Toronado instead. It looks like the Talman but has a different sound. The Toronados are similar to the Talmans in that they are under appreciated and share a good-looking but more compact not-quite jazzmaster-esque silhouette. Wish Ibanez would offer more Talman models in different configurations and at different price points.

I almost exclusively practice through my PC. Tonal options are through the roof! And if I come up with a cool original idea, I can instantly record it and often end up writing a lot more complete songs.

was just wondering what string gauge you are using? since this comes with 11 gauge strings in an alternate tuning. did you have it adjusted? were there any issues? thanks

I put 10's on it. Yes, adjustments were needed in the truss rod and the intonation. No issues after the setup.
