I notice the sustain issue too. Looking at chat gpt the trem system may be the issue. I dont know myself. Was thinking it was the pickups personally.
@HavickFunk4 ай бұрын
I have the same trem system in an ash body RG same specs but heavier which gives a better sustain. In my opinion, the string action should not be too low and the height of the pickups should be adjusted if it’s too high for optimal playability.

How does it compare with Rg350zb, This (Rg370zb) is just a pickguard less version of Rg350zb right? Or no. Is there any differences between the two except for the pickguard

Hi, you are right. There is no difference between the two except for the pickguard.

I am Brazilian my friend, I am using Google translator to communicate with you! I plan on buying the Ibanez Rg370zb, would you recommend me? If not, could I order an Ibanez in the same price range? Thank you my friend, a hug.
@HavickFunk5 жыл бұрын
Hi my friend, I will definitely recommend this RG370ZB. It has a very stable tremolo system (whammy bar). It is lightweight, therefore easy on the shoulder if you plan to play long hours. This guitar is more tailored for metal music. Hope this helps and don’t hesitate to write to me if you have more questions. Consider subscribing to my channel please.

@ricardo if you're happy for me to say, get at least the RG that starts with 4, like the RG421. RG5 are the benchmark, like the RG550. The 4 are very much good enough. Try those RGA Ibanez (the "A" stands for "arch"), they're also great, and actually have mahogany or ash wood body rather than meranti. :) Cheers and good luck!

If low tunning the bridge will float or remain constant?
@HavickFunk4 жыл бұрын
In low tunning, the bridge will not remain constant. You will still need to balance the tension of the bridge to stay horizontal to the body.

How is floating bridge, does it remain stable?? Just by blocking bridge with an object can i do drop d tuning?? Bcz i play on standard tuning and also lamb of god tooo. I dnt want to sacrifice any of my style😐

You'll have to do some mods to Floyd Rose to use in Drop D, Anuj! But once you apply mod, you'll be able to use in Drop D only! I'd keep 2 guitars, for live!

This guitar is brighter than rg370ahmz?
@HavickFunk5 жыл бұрын
It is just a little bit brighter than the AHMZ since the AHMZ is more warm sounding than the ZB. However the ZB seems to have less sustain and the notes tend to decay quicker.

is this better than rg421?
@HavickFunk5 жыл бұрын
Both guitars are same in construction and are versatile in terms of pickup configuration. The only major difference is the bridge - fixed versus tremolo. Which one is better? It will depend on your playing style. Do you prefer a tremolo or fixed bridge?
@charomie5 жыл бұрын
@@HavickFunk never have experience with floyd rose but i can try.
@HavickFunk5 жыл бұрын
@@charomie Do you already own a fixed bridge guitar or is this your first guitar? If you never had experience with a Floyd rose style guitar, then I strongly recommend to think well before buying. Floyd rose style guitars are more challenging to tune, set up, intonate and adjust. If you are buying new, then I hope that your guitar shop offers free set up. If not, you might spend a lot of time in learning how to adjust these types of tremolo system and hence less satisfaction. Go for the tremolo if you want to develop your solo skills playing (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai). But if this is not your style, then the fixed bridge is a much cheaper guitar and hence easier to set up. You can still do everything with it including solo but no extreme bending.
