Ha, me too. I really, really like the sound the DX320 puts out. This was my first DAP, well second as I purchased a FiiO M11 (ESS) and returned it because to me, it wasn't worth the money. I purchased the DX320 based on initial feedback on a forum from a place with a good return policy but the DX320 was surprisingly worth the money and it didn't take long to decide it was either, at least to my ears. I don't know if it's because ESS is in everything due to the AK fire and Cirrus to a lesser extent but the dual ROHM DACs in this is just mind-blowing. Not only for high resolution music but even just Spotify is so much better. With that said there are a few issues that IBasso is working on like lipsynch issues when watching video on the actual DAP like KZbin. Personally I like the stock amp better than the 13. I wish I knew about the feedback issue when using WiFi with NuTube amps in a DAP. Based on feedback from forums that has been an issue with a few A&K models in the past but it appears they have the shielding issue resolved in their latest DAP's. Can't stop listening to my Monarch MKII's. This DAP really makes them sound next level. In fact I got an SMSL D300 because it's the only desktop DAC with the same ROHM DAC that wasn't over 1K, at least that I could find.

iBasso DX320 is home, and looks fantastic. Yes, it,s quite brick and heavy, but sound with IT07 is amazing. But can I ask You: What do You think about burning of player? iBasso recomendet 100 - 200 hours burning for reach full potencial of player. I understant burning of headphones and repro, because there are moving parts, but burning of DAP? What do You think? Thank You for Your answer.

Absolutely love my DX320. Amazing sound quality and power. I prefer it to most of the portable dac/amps I've had. Even beats out some desktop gear I own. Great review.

I've had 4 iBasso DAPs, three were DX200 and one DX160. Two of the DX200s failed with different faults, and thenDX160 lasted 5 days before it stopped allowing me to unlock the screen on bootup. That's a 75% failure rate. I don't care how good they sound, I will never buy another iBasso product.

Wow I had a dx80 that I use occasionally for 8 years and it still runs strong, that’s the reason I’m considering their new products, maybe quality are going downwards, thanks for the comment Ill reconsider

Btw I’ve had a Sony xk that failed after 2 years, a hifiman brick like dap that I don’t even recall the model number that fails after couple months, maybe dap products just don’t last that long lol, though my ibasso dx80 is 8 years old its actual up time is closer to a year or two, maybe that’s the reason

Finaly, I ordered DX320 as a successor of my iBasso DX220. I found that I absolutely needed 4.4mm jack instead thin and brittle 2.5mm. I have iBasso IT07 earphones, which are great with DX220, but I hope, with DX320 they will be even better.

Hi there, yes - the iBasso DX320 has 128 GB on internal storage and a micro-SD card slot for even more. You can also connect it to Wi-Fi and stream from Spotify, Qobuz, Tidal and more. How would something like the chord mojo 2 compare sonically to the dx300 and dx320?

The Mojo 2 would be more resolving and detailed sounding and not quite as warm as the DX320. The DX300 is not as clear as the Mojo 2 and not as warm as the DX320, it's roughly halfway between the two sound wise.

I like to branch it to my high-end stereo equipment (pre-amp) as a music server and let it play hiresolution music from Tidal with the Roon interface on my iPhone or iPad but I’m not sure if it works as I describe it. Any comments from the community or you guys?

Very helpful review. For the kind of punchy and strong bass of WM1Z, how does the DX320 and Fiio M17 compare?

Glad you liked our review! The WM1Z M2 is more punchy than the DX320, but the DX320 still has great bass presence. Of the two, the WM1Z has a warmer and more musical tuning whereas the DX320 has a more neutral sound. We don't carry Fiio products, so we don't have a Fiio M17 to compare to either the Sony or the iBasso at this time.

hi there is never a comparison between different type of portable devices for example between a dap, a dongle and a dac/amp. the ultimate goal of these different genres of products is same afterall. so how should consumers know what they should expect from them sound quality wise. i want to buy a portable and have a 2k budget and sound quality is my only priority but don't want to pay more than it is necessary. don't care if it is dap, dac or dongle. which type of product should i investigate? tx

Also please understand that we all hear differently. I could say I like apples over oranges whereas you could say you like oranges over apples. Our ears are like finger prints. Each is unique and different. Thus why comparisons can sometimes give the wrong impression of the sound signature your ear wants. I have the same problem everytime i see new Audiophile grade product i try to find out where it stands in sound quality wise becouse i dont care if its chords mojo 2 or hugo 2 \ or AK sp2000t or 3000 or i basso dx320 ... I just want to know where it stands in terms of sound quality , and yes even though everyones ears are different everyone hear differently... Their must be one out of two which most of people prefer over other thats what i wana know .

All DACs introduce a slight amount of latency as part of their processing. There isn't a DAC out there with 0 latency. When using the DX320 as a USB DAC there isn't a significant amount of latency where it would be distracting for most people!

The iBasso DX320 can download the Android version of Apple Music and make use of this app's features. Apple's support of certain features (Dolby Atmos) is subject to their support of the Android version of their app. The DX320 can play HiRes Music inside and outside of the Apple Music app.
