Nice use of scrap material to reduce landfill waste that lasts about a bazillion years or so. Kind of a hassle working with light material and a light breeze to "help" you lol... but you persevere as usual WP! Great job and thanks for sharing! Hey to Suz the Q and have a good one. 🐶

Yeah. I was trying to get totes for the longest time. They were either too expensive or too far away. This company is right in my back yard.

@@WaynePolcin that's also what I found. Then one day the feed store up the road from me had them for 25. I bought all I could! Up to 30 now. Think I'll stop there.

Hi Wayne 🙂 I don't have equipment to move totes, or I'd use those too. ( I made 4x8 wood racks, and transfer the wood to the house in my wheelbarrow.) Nice job on repurposing the tarp for the covers. Now that you demonstrated how to do it, I may try a similar way to make some tarps for the top of my racks using an old heavy duty tarp that mice chewed holes in. Hi to SuzieQ too! 🧡My love to you both.

After making the video, I noticed that I could have folded the pointy end of the corner back up behind the rest of the material to give even more plies between the grommet halves - probably overkill. We love you too, Angie. Stay warm up there!

You should get some of those liners and cut them in half LOL. Totally joking bud, that looks real nice, and should work well. In the past I used old billboard sign material to cover my wood, it's very thick and hard to work with, but it last forever. I still have a piece of it I use on the bonfire pit from 10-11 yrs ago, it works great except the hole I put in it by covering the pit before it was completely out, don't do that. Very fortunate to now have the woodshed, it's 15.5x24 long, and has a 6x15.5 area on either side for firewood(a yr each side), then 12x15 in the middle where I used to keep my tractor(now in the barn). It's so nice not having to clear snow off tarps to get to my wood :). Have a blessed day friend.

Haha! I needed to hear this from you, Brett! We have a small woodshed over on Heartland. I’m planning to hall it over to Heartwood soon. These totes are nice for moving wood around the property but I don’t want to constantly live out of them. Did you show your woodshed in your videos? I haven’t been getting notifications of any activity from you. I’m sure YT is picking and choosing whom they think I should be watching, instead of the channels I want to watch.

@@WaynePolcin Moving that shed sounds like a cool project/video :). I understand not wanting to live out of them. I have a couple of the metal totes from a factory(the ones they put parts in), I use them for uglies and will set them right on our front porch in the early fall/spring with the tractor. This works well so I don't track as much dirt/mud into the house with the wheelbarrow that I bring right in the house once everything freezes up. I haven't done one on the woodshed specifically, but it has been in some of my videos for a split second. I should do a video of it, it's a pretty cool setup, says the guy who built it 😜. I wasn't getting any alerts from you either, but I saw this one in my feed and checked it out. I haven't done many videos other than a few tree falling videos this summer.
