Loved the background music to this. Wish this was available. My Dad was given this on video cassette as a gift in 1988. We loved watching this in London. This video got me into boxing. Great production by HBO.

Tyson impressed me with his knowledge and his reflections on boxing. Granted, not the most articulate commentator, but definitely worth listening to.

When you observe the art of fighting first, you’re able to implement the skills in the ring. Especially when it comes to counterpunching.

The money is too commercialised in boxing. There should be a non for profit organisation that is paid 1% of all purses in all world championship boxing. It would ensure proper long term healthcare for all fighters and long time fighters should be given a support pension. The promoters do nothing but look for a wolf and a sheep then put them in a ring.

I Bet You Tyson Would Knockout Mayweather In 2 Rounds....
@ShadeExtended13 жыл бұрын
@BiggieSmalls11111 No he didnt say Tyson would wiwn, i watched it. Haha Tyson better pressure than Smokin Joe, I agree that Tysons overall movement was better (in his prime) but Joe was a proper inside fighter, he stayed inside unlike Tyson. Joe hit him with the best shot hel ever throw and couldnt keep Ali on the canvas for 5 seconds, Foreman hit harder than Tyson and he couldnt even stagger Ali. Dont get me wrong close fight but Ali wins
@Blake47213 жыл бұрын

@BiggieSmalls11111 waste of time with your pointless drivel.. understand he was a fuckin slugger! Have you seen his fights? fair question and you didnt answer.. His only major weakness was his head movement. But any boxing fan knows a slugger has the upper hand against an inside fighter (ie Frazier v Foreman). I am nor a Tyson or Foreman favourite so I aint being bias.

eric mayer Way to idolize a draft dodging coward. You messaged me not vice versa. I am not trying to bother you. Why not idolize Joe Frazier? He was actually a decent human being.
@ericmayer83659 жыл бұрын
Graham6762 Because although Joe was the most courageous fighter I have ever watched. He is almost completely without BOXING talent. Ali is the greatest heavyweight talent ever. Who gives a fuck I wouldn't have gone to that shitty useless war either. It was all about the military industries making money. It wasn't for Americans freedom. When your treated like a 2nd class citizen in your own country fuck the government.
@ericmayer83659 жыл бұрын
Graham6762 Do you even know he was so poorly educated he failed the test. They only re classed him because they wanted him to entertain the troops not fight in battle . He was promised that and still told the government to go pound sand. So how is that cowardly ? Who the fuck can call a man that who took on Foreman? At least he stood for what he believed in. Then the government robbed all of us by taking his passport to deprive him and his family of his income.
@Graham67629 жыл бұрын
eric mayer If the government asks you to entertain the troops and increase morale then you should do it. A person can't choose which wars he would like to fight in any more than he can choose which laws he would like to obey. If you hate America then go to another country or run for congress. Don't pout and try to bring the country down by strife.
