You guys don't need to add all of these, these are just ideas I have had for the program for the past few years. You can just pick which ones you think are most essential. Can you guys add brush categories? So all the different types of brushes would have their own groups. This would make navigation and finding brushes a lot easier. Can also make it so there can be groups for your drawings? So I could put all of my illustrations in one group and all of my comics in another. It would also be convenient if you could put drawing groups inside of drawing groups. This would help me separate my comic by chapters. A way to group your colour palettes would also be nice. So I could put my pastels and darker colours in separate places. I would also really like it if there was a dark mode on the UI. This would improve drawing at night. ( this is a pretty minor nitpick so you don't need to worry about it too much. Could we also have a custom stamp feature so I can turn my watermark into a custom stamp, fully custom brushes would also be nice too? Could also improve the blur and smudge features because they are a little lacklustre compared to other drawing programs. Could you also expand the fabric texture category? Could the stabilizer have stronger modes as well? (So it can go higher than 10) I think that an improvement on the screen tones would also be pretty good. Could you also add anchor points to the transform feature? This would allow us to rotate and transform things better. I would also like it if there was a way to keep the size of things consistent while rotating in the transform tool. Some features to help with learning perspective would also be good. Like a more advanced perspective tool. A few other layer effects would be pretty good as well. Like glow dodge for example. Could there also be an improved watercolour brush? A duplicate feature would be pretty helpful as well. The text feature is also a little difficult to use. Edit: I just changed up some of the wording since it originally came off pretty aggressive which was not my intention. I also realized that these are a lot of features to add, especially to a free software. So you guys can restrict some of these features to the paid version or maybe make it require ads to use them.

IbisPaint is my primary drawing tool and it has improved so much over the years, so I am just giving them some more ideas. Plus anyway if all of these are added the software would probably be too much for phones to handle.

I am not demanding that they add all of these, and I'm not going to stop using the app if these aren't added. My suggestion is an extra canvas in the corner of the main canvas, so we can put some reference image (of a character for example), so we wouldn't need to put the reference on the side of the drawing, sometimes it gets in the way! hahahah It would be nice and veery useful also if here 1:35 the button also gave the option to rotate the drawing! In this update sometimes ibis paint would randomly get really laggy and I think figured out why. Every time I see an ad for Discord popup it starts to lag, and when it goes away the lag stops. I found a solution for right now. If you turn off your wifi the ad can't load and lag the app.

First of all I just wanted to say that this update is awesome and I can't wait to mess around with it later, but I think you guys should add a animation feature I know that this is a drawing app but adding a animation feature like procreate could be very helpful I know a lot of people recently have been making their frames using ibis paint and then putting the frames into capcut to make animation so if you added a animation feature it could save people a lot of time

What ive actually been waiting for a long time now is a feature in which you can use your own png from your gallery as a brush. Ibis brushes are great, but yeah, most other professional programs lets you use your own png as a brush

Fun fact. There's a paid version of this. It's the same but doesn't have ads like for example, you can use any brush without watching ads or use some locked items... Well it doesn't change the fact that ibispaint is the best

You can add refrence images by opening the layers tab, Pressing the camera button on the left and choosing a picture to import! It will import it on a new layer and you can adjust and move the photo wherever you want. Just dont draw on the layer and your good!

hi Misa!! 💗💕 One thing I sometimes miss and would love to see in an upcoming update would be the ability to create gallery folders to organize our illustrations. I do so many drawings that sometimes I get lost when I look for a specific one. It would be perfect if I could create a folder just for sketches and put all the illustrations that are still in the drafting process there, for example.

My English is very bad and I use google translator (if there are any mistakes, I apologize in advance) Let's start with the fact that I have been drawing for a long period of time and tried many programs on my phone or PC. And that 4 years ago that Ibis Paint is still my favorite program. It seems that the developers really love their work and listen to the audience. Each update creates incredible praise for drawing and simplifying some points. In this update, I really liked the fact that you can now change multiple layers at once and the filter with rays of light. All I (and many others) are waiting for is the official port on the PC. I think you can already do this by using a clipping mask on the whole folder and applying filters there but i think that only works for some filters
