Quboori Sufis:Ibn Taymiyyah was misguided. Traditional Hanbalis:Shaikh Mansoor Ibn Yunus Al Buhuti praises him in Kashf Al Qina,Shaikh Mari Ibn Yusuf Al Karimi quotes him as evidence in Shifa As Sudoor and lashes out at grave worshippers and even calls them mushriks,Imam Ibn Rajab Al Hanbali praises him in Dhail Tabaqat Al Hanabila,Imam Hajjawi quotes him as evidence in Al Iqna,Imam Al Mardawi quotes him as evidence in Al Insaaf. Sheik ul Islam ibn tamiyah was not a hanbali but he came with many futwas against hanbali madhab. It’s clear you have no idea about the hanbali madhab as he’s one of the biggest authorities of the madhab… al Mardawi literally quotes his opinions extensively in al Insaaf. Similarly, Imam al Hajjawai says, “when I say ash Shaykh then I am referring to Shaykhul Islam ibn Taymiyyah.” Literally every authority of the madhab after Shaykhul Islam ibn Taymiyyah quote his views extensively and they praise him.
