I like you also play football and alhumdalillah I am on the left wing as well. I was looking at winning the world cup for England in 2026. Allah has pulled me back. I broke my wrist whilst playing in July. Football will lead to Zina and Allah is very concerned about this. I want to use a modern day example. Look at Amir Khan the boxer. This lecture was quite embarrassing. These people are not living in the real World. Pick any profession and you'll find sad stories associated with it. That's not to say the profession itself is bad. What about all the success stories? There are so many obstacles life throws at us and not everyone will overcome them in the same way. Trivialising real issues in this manner is a poor attempt at the holier-than-thou influencers.

Most footballers promote that stuff alcohol etc. Not to mention since is a nonmuslim country most of the players on the team when they win they go to celebrate drinking, club etc. And if you are one Muslim on a team full of nonmuslim it's easy to get carried way by peer pressure. "Tell me your friends and I will tell you who you are" meaning you are who you hang with. I'm sure you are still young but these are lessons for those who are wise. Learn from other people mistakes or fall into the mistakes. I wish you all the best. Peace ✌️
@SamNL Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if I agree with your dad. All the examples of footballers living a party lifestyle after retiring (e.g. Maradonna, Lingard, Sneijder, Adriano, etc.) are non-Muslims so of course they don't have no purpose anymore. There are plenty of Muslim footballers who do pretty well (Mazraoui, Mané, Rüdiger, etc.). I get that after football life might feel "empty" but the same can be said for a lawyer who works over 70 hours a week. If anyone knows a Muslim that lived a party lifestyle I'm happy to hear because I don't know any. I think that is why the lecture is faulty. Their party lifestyle is the result of having nothing outside of football but if you have friends, family or your religion as your main priority you won't care for burgers, drugs or alcohol. Finally, if anything, during your sporting career, not doing intoxicants might even be a bigger plus since you're an athlete.

@ibmatlore Жыл бұрын
You are bit clueless. Don’t give examples of weak Muslim soccer players. These players would probably have made the same mistakes if they played or not play sports. Talk about players like Mane, Salah and others players who fast at matches during Ramadan, do their prayers and help the poor by building schools, hospitals, mosques and give money to the unfortunatedly struggling Muslims. A number of year ago , a Muslim player won the championship instead of partying with teammate went to the Mosque to clean the toilets. If parents don’t do their job of putting the love of Islam into their child heart and mind, that child will go through of life making mistakes, whether they play sports or not play. How many children that don’t get the discipline from sports get into drugs, partying, crime and get arrested? The biggest concern should to get more successful role models.
@drcommonsense1 Жыл бұрын
Well said. Football and worship can go hand in hand. Mane and Salah are very good examples. The man also talks as if health conditions don't happen outside of football. He is almost using fear to make you change your attitude. Is this what Islam is about? Scaring people into thinking worship is all you should focus your life on?

@@sahil-yf4bs You are so clueless . I never said Salah was the idea Muslim. Can you compare yourself to Salah. Who did more for the poor Egyptian or any poor Muslim country, him or you? How many Egyptian quit drugs because of him. Sport is a chance for the poor to improve their life from the ghettos, war torn and backward countries. It easy for you and others to criticize when you have no understand of the difficulty of life some of these athletes came from. Do you know that many people in Liverpool convert or reverted to Islam because of Salah? At least these are role models for poor inner city to dream of accomplishing great things for themselves, family, their people and country. I guess you didn’t see the men World Cup sharing and showing Islamic value to the whole world. I guess you are not living in war ravished country, you get to eat 2 or 3 meals a day, got a home or an apartment to live in, got parents that educated and religious, you own TV, drive car and good paying job. How many of these people would love to live our life?
@drcommonsense1 Жыл бұрын
@sahil-yf4bs as a Muslim don't you believe in Jesus? What's your problem with buying presents and putting up a decorated tree at a certain time of the year and celebrating the birth of Jesus? Salah and Mane are good role models. They have become legends in their field and they still hold religious values and are considered good people universally, not just by Muslims and this is a very big point. I don't hear them swearing and cursing from them, yet Muslim influencers like Ali Dawah and Moh Hijab are always cursing. Isn't that a trait that the prophet didn't like or engage in? You need better role models who are universally liked and that can only happen by being in well renowned professions.

@zyadsuffee551 you can have inner peace in today's life. You just aren't trying hard enough or haven't understood what is important in life. Today we have things that are so much better than 1400 years ago. If people from 1400 years ago saw today's technology they'd lose their minds

ok "Salafi inkpot". How do you know no one has benefitted?
@alH1ndawi Жыл бұрын
@@af_125 No one will benefit from a mumayyi' who waters down the Salafi manhaj. If he was the only spokesperson for Salafiyyah in this entire world no one would know what Salafiyyah is.
