Very well said. I absolutely agree. I’ve loved this since hearing it 2004. I was 4 years deep in love with my partner and it became one of our songs. 13 years later we ended our relationship but remained very close. If anything this song means more to me now than then, lovely, nostalgic and indeed bittersweet. When I listen to it now, I think of us then. Sometimes I smile, sometimes I cry, always I’m thankful.

That is called: proffesionalism. If that's even a word. What did ya think???? Keane has been performing for 20.000 people arena's. Of course they can play this off well. This is exactly what is wrong with these times in my opinion. With thanks to internet and social media: scientific stuff is looked at as just "another opinion"(doctor:"you're husband is dead."wife:"That's YOUR opinion".) and young people are getting confused about what is authentic and what's fake. I believe that is going to be a big problem, in the future...

I walked across an empty land I knew the pathway like the back of my hand I felt the earth beneath my feet Sat by the river, and it made me complete Oh, simple thing, where have you gone? I'm getting old, and I need something to rely on So tell me when you're gonna let me in I'm getting tired, and I need somewhere to begin I came across a fallen tree I felt the branches of it looking at me Is this the place we used to love? Is this the place that I've been dreaming of? Oh, simple thing, where have you gone? I'm getting old, and I need something to rely on So tell me when you're gonna let me in I'm getting tired, and I need somewhere to begin And if you have a minute, why don't we go Talk about it somewhere only we know? This could be the end of everything So why don't we go Somewhere only we know? Oh, simple thing, where have you gone? I'm getting old, and I need something to rely on So tell me when you're gonna let me in I'm getting tired, and I need somewhere to begin And if you have a minute, why don't we go Talk about it somewhere only we know? Somewhere Only We Know" I walked across an empty land I knew the pathway like the back of my hand I felt the earth beneath my feet Sat by the river and it made me complete Oh simple thing where have you gone? I'm getting old and I need something to rely on So tell me when you're gonna let me in I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin I came across a fallen tree I felt the branches of it looking at me Is this the place we used to love? Is this the place that I've been dreaming of? Oh simple thing where have you gone? I'm getting old and I need something to rely on So tell me when you're gonna let me in I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin And if you have a minute why don't we go Talk about it somewhere only we know? This could be the end of everything So why don't we go Somewhere only we know? Somewhere only we know? Oh simple thing where have you gone? I'm getting old and I need something to rely on So tell me when you're gonna let me in I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin And if you have a minute why don't we go Talk about it somewhere only we know? This could be the end of everything So why don't we go? So why don't we go? Ah-ah-ah Ah-ah-ah This could be the end of everything So why don't we go Somewhere only we know? Somewhere only we know? Somewhere only we know?

These kind of music always makes me feel at peace. It brings out so much in me. Positive things like thinking, actions, and dreams. When I close my eyes while listening to this, I tear up because I see myself as a better person in my own world that I created for myself instead of what the world wants to shape me to be apart of. I hope that makes sense...but yeah...that's what music like this makes me feel.

I understand you. You don't need to create a world of your own to be who you are and to extract your best out of your heart. Just remember the personality of your being when you were just a little child. That time was the time of real personality and essence. Try to understand why you feel like other people were trying to shape you and look carefully to what people are they exactly. Are they people who cares about you? Are they of your family? Maybe your parents? Are there some hurts between you and they? If yes, mind about it, so wounds can be powerful enough to make us wish to get apart from people that love us and we love too. It builds a pride wall in our heart and we feel as a prisoner and just wanna put the things to the right place. Then, you can do that. Try to understand others as you try to hear to your inner voice and practice forgiveness. It will be deliverer. Greetings from a friend.

I used to throw party's in my flat when I was 18.. We used to fill the place after our local nightclub finished.. The day after when there was intoxicated bodies strewn everywhere, we would all listen to the Keane album and sing along.. I'm 39 now.. Actually tears me up when I hear this music.. Much love from 🏴.. Great band..

This is the song that made me go back to my hometown. My town is nowhere like the city and population didnt even reach a thousand. Its milez away from markets, wifi is slow and theres no night life. But theres something on it that made me decide to stay and leave the city life for good. And that is peace of mind.

At the same time, my best friend and companion Rafe (German Shepherd) was cruelly taken from me because of renal failure amongst other things. So missed so loved so long buddy. This guy is simply a miracle🥹👏. Not only he survived the hell of addictions, but he also kept his unique voice👍👏, and this performance shows, once more in his case, that when you are talented you ll sound with your voice only, or almost only, as good or almost as good as with a whole set of instruments (btw I love Tim, who wrote the song, and Richard and Jesse (even if he wasn't part of the band yet when H & F was released), cause they all contribute to the songs🥰).
