20 years ago, I was a little depressed child who only wanted to hide from the world. I found this song in a festival like this, that it was televised in my country for some reason. I didn't even speak English, I couldn't understand the lyrics, but I thought that the song was so beautiful, and it made my heart beat faster. I wanted to learn English to know what they were singing about. This song helped me in my teenage years when everything was chaotic. Now that I'm in my thirties, this song still helps me when living just feels like too much. Thank you for everything, Keane ♡

First saw them supporting Travis around the time Hoped and Fears was realised. I don't mind admitting that this was the song that caused me to have my Glasto Cry. When he sang "I walked across an empty land, I knew the pathway like the back of my hand" it really hit me. I know Glastonbury festival so well and as I was on site early, I did walk across an empty land, knowing the pathway like the back of my hand. I have always loved this song but this time it just hit me in a way it never had before.

Played at my wedding. It was our song--went to see Keane whenever we could. Greetings from Detroit.

So jealous of the people who got to witness this live... one of my all time favorite songs and I just kept getting chills. There arent that many songs out there nowadays where the live version is better than the studio version, but this one hit the spot especially the way the crowd sang it too. CHILLS

Hopes & Fears was one of the first albums I bought for myself, with my own money, growing up. This song is such a precious memory for me. I still adore Keane and their music ❤

I only ever go to rock and metal gigs but I saw Keene playing in Dublin in May and decided to go because it was the anniversary of their greatest album. Absolutely phenomenal performance, incredible live band and extremely talented. One of the nicest songs of all time
