Clay, I usually get pretty lengthy in discussions...take after my dad I guess. But my wife’s reaction I think can’t be improved upon. She was reading, yet listening to your video. She stopped reading and commented how cool it was about your son’s realization that he made the trek to the lake...”one step at a time”! For a father who has loss a son, I understand the importance of that shared time between a father and a son.

A quiet man who was most content in the midst of his "Family Brood" , a simple man of infinite patience, uncompromising character, an extreme yet unassumingly high intelligent, and a depth of Love and Understanding for His Family and fellow man rarely seen today! A Proud Husband, Father, and US Marine! Till the moment He left to rejoin Our Father in Heaven! We knew we were fortunate to have Him! Love Ya Pop!

God Bless you and your family Clay, you are raising your boys the right way. They will look back on the memories when Dad took us hunting, fishing, and camping. I really miss my Dad he taught me everything about the outdoors and I impressed him a few times when he said "I've never been able to do that" and it made me proud. A 50 yrd bow shot when I ten ringed a doe in an open field, a 400+ yrd kill shot on a deer under a powerline clear cut. My Dad made all that possible.
