It was a accidental reflex. I cringed after I said it and thought about editing it out lol. Band edge notifications! I can’t remember right off hand. I actually moved across country last May and still haven’t unpacked my radios yet. I can power it up this weekend and give you a definitive answer.

Do you still get an audio signal when going out of band? Before mod, when you go out of band you get a beep indicating that you can't transmit. After the mod, do you still get the beep when you go out of an approved HAM band?

You can set those beeps and TX lockout in the RT systems programmer

@@tonyj5712 it opened mine too , but when I transmit , I have really high SWR. I used the same antenna on another radio and it works fine. Do you have the same problem ?

Do you have a tuner connected? What kind of antenna are you using?

@@bdcswhatuneed it's ok , I sorted it out , the reason I had high swr was because the antenna was close to a wall in my testing, once I've put it on the car, it was around 1 , perfect !

Correct MURS Frequencies 151.820 MHz 151.880 MHz 151.940 MHz 154.570 MHz 154.600 MHz Not sure what frequency you were on but it was not MURS....

You should not use your amateur call on a freq. that Is not a ham freq.you are known as out of band that is a no no.!!
