Any changes in wattage in the upper frequencies 462 MHz and 467 MHz?

Under NO circumstances should you bend the diode to break the leg from the solder joint. That could damage the pad on the PCB. Just heat the other leg until the solder melts and then remove it.

That's 12 screws, not 8.

4 on the bottom. 2 on each side of the bottom cover. (8 total). You don't have to remove all 4 on each side which is why he pointed to two on top of each side. 👍
