Should you need to correspond with or return goods (which will be of inferior quality) to this company you will definitely be out of luck. They do not have any form of telephone communication, they do not reply to messages sent via their online email form or the email address they use to confirm your initial order. They do not reply to letters sent via Royal Mail to their "business address " which if you check it on Google Street View, turns out to be a small nondescript semi detached domestic house in Newcastle. In short they will have no dealings whatsoever with you once they have your money. They are a ROGUE COMPANY with zero customer service. Also they use many other business names, eg.. Dominator Auto Diagnostics,>> iCarsoft Pro Diagnostics , >> CastrolzAuto ( one of his older KZbin Channels) and finally >>Bavarian Dominator, where customer reviews on the latter, can be found online at the Review Centre....... Buyers Beware!!

Dave i really appreciate the time you took to make this detailed video of actually doing something with the tool rather than just reading the spec sheet like the others. I have been looking for a good scan tool in low budget and the problem is that all these tools have no professional information available about anything. They all seem to be actually designed and made by just a single company somewhere in china, and to which the brands just slap on their names and sell. I have even tried downloading a few user manuals (Autel MP808, Autel MK808 and iCarsoft CR Max to be specific) and the confusion still carried on as even the user manuals were the same. Like literally it was the same template and description used by two different companies for three different products. after watching your video was only when i actually came to know something a little in detail about this tool. For now I am heavily leaning on this iCarsoft CR Max.

@@DavesDiscoveriesChannel yes the free updates is a good thing if you plan on using the tool for a long time and on new cars. I just got my iCarsoft CR Max before two days. I'm still to use this tool on a real car but i still checked out the menus and i can say for the price this tool is a bargain for what it does. I had an Autel ML629 and i upgraded to this tool.

I noticed the same thing about all the diagnostic scanner companies. Some of them almost look the same except for colour and the rubber end grips, the icons and screen look the same or similar. I wish this KZbin channel would have gone into more detail though. For example, BMS (Battery Management System) where I'd like to see 4 windows where I can enter the Capacity (Ah), the battery type (AGM, standard lead acid, etc), the Serial Number and the Part Number. Also, he can click on many service functions without changing anything unless he clicks the OK button; he can always click the "back" icon. Also, you can do an ABS Bleed without actually doing a bleed...you listen for the ABS pump being activated. I could use one of these for my Acura and Porsches, but I am being cautious as I already have 5 diagnostics tools, three of them were expensive and I am done with empty/false promises from manufacturers. Anyway, a whole lot better than the reviews from people selling the product.

I have the CR Pro. It cannot read the temperature of the automatic transmission!!!!! It's unbelievable. This means I cannot determine the correct oil-level when changing the oil. BIG disappointment. I also tried to start a DPF regeneration. I never managed to get it started.

Hello! Can this Diagnostic Tool that you show in the Video, do work with BCB and PEB module in a Renault Zoe? (Electric car). I am going to change the Electric motor in my Renault Zoe Year Model 2019. And then I have to copy the data from the BCB and PEB Module. And then copy in the data after the Elmotor change. Nice little review, did you have any issues with wrong codes showing up with certain components failing? I read some having issues with the scanner saying injector fault with abs disconnected and so on.

It’s been fantastic, my only complaint is it shows adaptions for some options it doesn’t actually support on a particular model year but for the money it still blows my mind.

​@@joller79 I got CR max it was verrrrry bad for me i have w211 and i have error message the cr max reads no error code ! 🤣 i said ok lets bleed the abs when i was doing that my car voltage was 14 which is too high but the cr max said the voltage is too low hahaha i tried to do 4 different things it hasn't succes any of them verrrry bad

It seems like this product is faulty, and I haven’t received any reply from diagnostic word Uk (take time and No contact with me about refund) no respond nothing!!! Just give me email contact to China an resolve any problem yourself…

So you find a fault and delete the fault but not fix the fault. Oppps that dont sound good to me. Does the machine show you the issue as to location, part number fault, how to fix etc,,any of that info. Also another question,,,if you delete the fault and run a new test,,does it show the fault again as the fault was repaired/fixed..

The CR Pro/Pro+ is the cheaper option, it’s a smaller unit, no touch screen and less support/features.

It is a big disappointment. I tried to do a DPF regeneration on a Ford S-max 2010. Guess what? It did not work! Tried programming new tire pressure sensors on a 2016 Mercedes Vito! Guess what? It did not work! In the descriptions it says it does a lot of things, but apart from reading error codes and clearing them, it doesn't do anything else!

Did you access the VITO options via the separate option (it’s not under Mercedes) it’s under the “sprinter” option
