When it comes to building the more support beams you put up the less damage your home takes, especially with wood. My first home I lit on fire, second home got blown down. I got tired of loosing houses and just put beams everywhere for the roof. Then put walls and a few center supporting beams. Rarely had to fix that house just a few hammer wacks on occasion. Also don't forget lightning rod, after all the work my house got caught on fire again, this time it was natures fault though. I did save it luckily.

@@IronsideGames Also just a bit ago a massive lighting storm set a number of forest fires. I was already low on trees in the area. I found I could find separations between groups of trees, clear all the ground matter out and then fire wack the trees that were closest to unburnt groups of other trees. I stopped the fire from raging through the entire forest.

That's one way. I now have a little forest of burnt trees after a lightning storm!
