Hey just to let you know, you can pop that piece that slides back and forth off of the cup lid. That way you don’t have to worry about it and it’s not in the way. If you leave it on, it can get dirt and mold underneath it. They make it to where it can pop off, so that you can clean underneath it. So it’s probably best that you take that off :) I make tumblers also, just wanted to give you a friendly tip!!

Super cute! I learned the hard way that hot glue doesn't hold up here in Az 115 degrees softens the glue, so I do E6000 along with the hot glue, & it works!

I just received my Amazon order today of fruit and ice cubes. Watched your video ran to Michaels for the vase filler cuz I only had a 20oz skinny to work with cuz I couldn’t find the lid for my 30oz. 🤷‍♀️ The large cubes I could only use a couple the vase filler worked great!! Thanks sooo much

Love your videos and your cup designs! Something that works for me for the hot glue stings is that I will take either my hairdryer, the heat gun or even a lighter will work and go over them. If I don't hold the hairdryer over whatever I'm working on for to long it will just melt the stings.

Like mentioned in the video, you may epoxy over or use E6000 glue. And plus, you won’t be washing this topper every single time you wash your tumbler. This part shouldn’t get dirty be use you are placing a straw through the straw hole

The epoxy seals the ice cubes. It acts better than just glue that sometimes separates over time.

I make these and I resin all the ice and lime or lemon in a mold shaped like the lid and transfer it to the lid with magnets. Hot glue will not hold everything after many uses.

Are there any issues with the ice cubes coming apart while having the tumbler out in the heat (like at the beach or pool) bc it's out together with a hot glue gun. Wouldn't the wax melt? Love this idea.. Just curious.

You can always epoxy over the ice cubes start they are glued 😊

No. It will not open and close. You can remove that part or you can place ice around it so it can open and close still.

It will stay open and yes, just don’t glue the ice on the lid and lid flap. Don’t over lap the two. As you’re adding your ice, keep opening and closing your lid so you don’t accidentally jam it open it closed with the ice

Alcohol always makes my tumblers have fish eyes so I just wash with warm mild soapy water

@@kellygallo1075 everytime I've used it to wipe my tumblers and then applied epoxy it gets fish eyes and as soon as I stopped using it and gently cleaned with mild dish soap I haven't had an issue since. I also heard that alcohol reacts with resin.
