Reminds me of my Swedish Krumkake which we stuff with thick whip cream and fresh peaches or strawberries. The Krumkake maker has a wooden dowel cone shaped to make a cone. Plan on making your recipe this week as a treat for friends.

Really nice video, Stephanie. But I have a question. Can I add the melted semi-sweet chocolate into the batter to make the chocolate ice cream cones? If not, what should I do. Thanks a lot if you can answer my question!

This looks right up my alley - I'm not a huge fan of the wafer-like foamy ice cream comes they sell in stores, or the hard thick sugar cones. This seems like it would be a nice crisp cone.

Could I use a waffle cone maker instead? Would it still come out okay? Also how long do you think these last? As in how long will they keep without going bed? And what do you recommend for storage

Starch is a super addition to make it harden a little more on top of the sugar

I have a question, can I bake it to make it hard? I like those type of cones

The only thing missing in this video is Stephanie tasting the cone. I sort of wanted to see/hear and almost taste myself the crispness of the cooked crepe (it´s always the best part). But it seems like a great recipe.
@joyofbaking10 жыл бұрын
I was thinking of tasting one with a scoop of ice cream but they really need to cool a fair bit crisp up. So I didn't this time. Next video.

Do you recommend eggs being stored in the fridge then brought to room temperature when required? There seems to be no definitive answer that I can find,
@joyofbaking10 жыл бұрын
Dorien Reed Yes, I store my eggs in the refrigerator and then just take them out of the fridge as needed.
