I absolutely love this channel! Honestly if you are wanting to open your own bakery, this channel will be your guide for perfect recipes. I’ve used so many of her recipes that I take to friends and they always question where I got them from. For example, I’ve tried so many of her cookies such as chocolate chip, snickerdoodle cookies etc. Homemade cookies are sooo much better than store bought. By no means I am good at baking.

I tried this no churn ice cream 🍨 and it is better than the store bought. Stephanie thank you for all the good work that you are doing. I have already stopped buying cookies and cakes from the store and now it’s the turn of the ice creams. I was pleasantly surprised 😲 with the outcome as there were no ice crystals formed. I made this strawberry 🍓 and vanilla ice cream that you posted. Now I am thinking 💭 of trying an apricot one on the similar lines of strawberry one. Thank you for the recipes that you post. I love your channel as it’s the best in the segment.

Roasting the strawberries sounds crazy but it really does work and makes a wonderful sauce also with cheesecake or regular cake served as a dessert, for example Stephanie's Yogurt Cake. The no churn vanilla was wonderful so I will be trying this one out too. If you have an ice cream machine check out Stephanie's Strawberry Sherbet which is really good too.

I like to use a teaspoon that has a thin edge to hull my strawberries. The curve of the bowl of the teaspoon really makes it easy to get out just the hull and leave the best part of the strawberry behind.

I've always made my ice cream this way because I never wanted to buy a machine (it takes up to much space.) You don't have to beat the c.milk once you get stiff peeks of heavy w.cream you can fold it in, add what you want to it and freeze. 6 hours later, you have ice cream!!

Hi Stephanie, I’m a big fan of you. You’re a really good teacher and your recipes are always a hit. But I am having trouble with the butter cakes (cakes that have butter in them or have a thick consistency). They rise well in the oven, but as soon as they cook off they start to deflate. What am I doing wrong?
@joyofbaking2 жыл бұрын
There can be a few reasons for that happening. I’m assuming that you don’t live at a high elevation. Reasons can be the cake wasn’t fully baked, baked at the wrong temperature, too much leavening, or improper mixing.
@KarinEMAR2 жыл бұрын
@@joyofbaking my house does have 2 floors and my kitchen is on the upper floor. My oven has like a digital setting to set the temperature so I set it as in the recipe and I always do the toothpick test before removing my cakes

Those are ice cream rocks that is what happens to mine after a use a ice -cream maker and it gets hard after being in a freezer,if you look at a ice -cream package they use stabilizers so it stays soft which I bought and still trying to figure out which ones to use to keep it soft.
@joyofbaking2 жыл бұрын
I don’t find that the ice cream is that hard. If you do then I would just take it out of the freezer and let it sit a bit at room temperature before serving. If your ice cream is really hard, maybe try raising the temperature of your freezer. I set my freezer temp. at 0 F (-17C).
